Well, there is not a single negative remark for the University of Calcutta.Only a few things needed to be taken care of. 1.The setas offered for any course by the University is very less.For the 2015-2017 session, Journalism and Mass Communication dept offered only 90 setas. 2.The chances of getting admitted into the course by clearing the entrance exam is very challenging.In the 2015-2017 session, for the 40% of the setas (45 setas) in Journalism and Mass Communication dept, a number of 940 950 students sat for the entrance exam!

The good - faculty, campus, social life, seminars, workshops The average - location, canteen, campusing The bad - fee structure, academically uninterested students

Everything and everyone is good about the college except the mentality of few girls who happen to possess (to be very frank-a very narrow mind) and because of which most of us have to suffer.

Overall good experience the degree is a valuable degree it may not seem so but to outside M.A degree from university of Calcutta is very valuable it is good experience over all the management is as good as govt good for nothing complain suggestions everyt
