EXPERENCE OF JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY AS A STUDENT .

the sheduling of result out and some other official activities are not on time or not in proper way. there is no exact duration for result out after exam

my department is INSTRUMENTATION and ELECTRONICS Engineering. the total fees for four year is 10420. at the time of admission we had to pay the fees for first 2 years only and the rest fees should be submitted after 2nd year completion. The detailed fees structure is above: Tution : 1800 Admission Fees: 100 Registration: 25 Librarry Deposit: 50 Sports: 100 Lab / workshop fees: 3000 session charges:100 caution deposit: 25 health card: 10 the sum of all this is 5210. the same will be applied for the rest 2 years (3rd and 4th year). but for IT and CSE the fees structure is different . the total amount for 4 year is approx 30000 rs.

A Honest Overview

every year we pay semester wise which depends on the subject and per semester is like almost 70 rupees also we have to pay almost 9000 rupees for the entire 4 year course as i belong to the st cateogary so it was less for me during the admission process for IT(information Technology) btech course the fees is around 1.5 lakhs i havent alloted for any schorlarships or financial aid as my father works in the indian coast guard in defence

Why Jadavpur University is better than IITs

The year-wise fees 2500 I have to pay the Tuition fees is 1200, caution fees 500, registration fees 200, admission fees 50, development fees 50, lab fees 100 and there is no the other compulsory charges during the course completion as per the category (like Management, SC, ST). I got SVMCM scholarship amount of 60000 per year

The fees is very low.If someone have financial issue they don't need a educational loan like other colleges because fees is very very less.

Jadavpur University is a state government University,so annual fees is very less just like 2450 per year.And this 2450 rupees fee is included with tuition fees, registration fees, admission fees,lab fees, library fees.This 2450 rupees fees for all categories students.I am staying in hostel and hostel fees is also very less just like 3000 per month. The scholarship I have received every year is SVMCM, it's a give by West Bengal government and the amount is 60000 per year.

Year wise Lab ,Sports ,amenities fees-Rs 300 One time Registration fees (at the time of admission)-Rs 250 There is fees relief in case of very low family income and greater distance from home There is surely Swami Vivekananda Scholarship for students.

The fee structure of our department is approximately 2500 (yearly) and the complete course fee is around 10,000. Our fees is the same for a very long duration (in my knowledge). In this case, it is helpful for the students who are financially not so sound and have a problem in paying the high college fees like the other engineering colleges have . Our IT department (information technology) has a yearly fees of approx 30,000. So, unlike other departments the fees of IT deparment is a bit high but while comparison to other departments of other colleges , its price is quite affordable and reasonable from the students point of view.

By taking B.E. Instrumentation and Electronics Engineering branch I pay 1500 rupees per year. Fees Structure : Tuition fees - 10 Caution fees - 10 Registration fees - 50 Lab fees - 400 Admission fees - 1000 Development fees - 30 Total - 1500 per year It is a 4 year Undergrad course which costs total 6000 rupees. The fees structure is same for all students irrespective of their category. Jadavpur University provides Fee-Ship scholarship which makes free the full 4 year course.

A Comprehensive Review of Jadavpur University

Tuition fees is approximately 10,000 only. Hostel charges are very very low. You can also stay in nearby pgs with around 3000-5000 per month. Some scholarships and financial aids are also available. You are take part in undergraduate research projects here.

I still havent got one as i am in first year of my colllege.

Except for the it branch (whose fees is 60000 per year], the fee structure is great . The fees for other courses are under 15000 per year which is great .Also there are schoralships for bengal residents as well.Also the hostel fees is very less.Anyone can afford it .Overall there is almost zero financial burden to anyone coming.
