Likes
- The faculty is very good and helpful . They are very learned and experienced in their respective fields and have many contacts in the industry .
- The peer group is very good and supportive . They treat each other like a family and always ready to help each other.
Dislikes
- The campus is not very big as it is situated in the main city of kolkata . So , there is not much to explore.
- The gender ratio is very poor . In a class of 150 students , only around 12-15 girls are present.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fees at Jadavpur University , Kolkata is very less. Due to this , its ROI (return of investment) is the best in India . For all courses (other than Information Technology) , the fees is around Rs. 3000 annually . The total fees for four years is just Rs.12000 and it includes all the tution fees , regisration fees , developement fees etc.
Likes
- Return on Investment here is very excellent.
- Faculty is awesome and senior-junior relationship is very healthy. Campus life is awesome.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is a little out-dated with respect to other private colleges.
- Male to female ratio is about 10:2, which I consider to be very poor.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The year-wise total fees is Rs 2,400 per year for my course, so total Rs 9,600 for 4 years. For category students other than general, I mean for TFW students, it is free. Moreover, since our University is Governmental, so all costs are very minimal and moreover Scholarships like Vivekananda Scholarships are applicable here. Placements are fantastic here and college environment is very healthy.

- First of all in 1 St year I experienced the most lovable thing is the guidance of seniors after visiting the campus first time and these was much valueable things that I want .The campus life in 1 St year filled with soo much excitement .
- In 2nd year I shared a much better boundless friendship with the college mates and this smoothly moves the college life .
Dislikes
- I dislike the kind of culture they borrowed and showing that they are showing fit and fine
- And the political agendas also destroy the campus into different bits
Fees and Financial Aid:
Tution fees is not enough only 10k that can be afford by all lower middle class family The complete fees of my college is 10 k andar my hostel fees with meal is 2k per month Our svmcm this was given by wb govt is 60k per year and others private scholarship also available No this kind of thing is not happening in my college

Fees and Financial Aid:
Tution fee is nearly nil . The entire course is completed within just 12000 Indian rupees for 4 years. The placement packages average around 14 lpa when taken as gross and thus JU provides the best Return of Investment in whole of India ..
Likes
- The flexibility and teaching style of professors. Whenever I had a doubt be it in course curriculum or related to extracurriculars, I would always find a professor by my side. Even if someone missed labs, he/she could do arrears for the missed lab.
- The strong friendship and bonding that the students shared among themselves.
Dislikes
- The course curriculum is more extensive than other colleges and GATE syllabus.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Only Rs.10k for 4 years of your education here. Also, there are a large number of scholarships like Siemens Scholarshipto assist the students financially and educationally. I have personally achieved the Richard E. Merwin international scholarship from global IEEE Computer Chapter which is given to only 15-20 students world-wide annually. A wide range of companies visit JU for on-campus internships and placements. Personally, I have been awarded Analog Design Engineer job role at Texas Instruments for a stipend of 36 LPA.

- Laboratory are more satisfactory for research and educational purpose
Dislikes
- The campus is open to all that is unfair
- Class attendance must be avail to be full
Fees and Financial Aid:
Tuition fees are very nominal. The complete cost is 10,000 All types of scholarships are available for all and financial aid students. which are enough beneficial. All types of campusing are appeared here, system engineer, business analyst, data analyst.

- The environment of the college is healthy and full of greenry
- The campus provides with lot of opportunities for growth by participating in fests and various competitions
Dislikes
- There should be a little bit of restrictions in the campus for outsiders for safety reasons
- Quota for other states students should be increased for more diversity

The university is very affordable. Fee hike is very minimal almost nothing. Be it hostel fee or academics fee or stationary or food, canteens everything here is cheap and affordable. Still the university provides freeship program by which eligible students can get the course fee back.

Fee to be paid at the time of admission are B.A./B.Sc- 2400 B.E.- 5200 M.Tech- 10000 M.A./M.Sc- 2400 The University offers half or full fee concessions to meritorious students and economically disadvantaged students. Means-cum-merit based stipends are awarded to students from various endowments created by generous donors. Besides various types of central,state and private scholarships are available.

- Infrastructure not that developed yet as compared to other colleges.
- Too many events taking place at the same time

Tution fee at our University is very minimal just about 1200 each semester. The fee has'nt hiked for a long period of time. Students with financial problems are going to receive SVMCM scholarship amount of Rs 60000 yearly.

- Water condition for hostel and also for the department ares.

As we discussed in the previous the the most affordable engineering college in the india without any compromising the placement results or ratio. In West Bengal their are different scholarship available in state wise cota or also for other states available frequently.Campus life is too good as like as a IIT CAMPUS.
