IIT Kharagpur Offers a Joint M.Tech-PhD program. The admission for this course is based on GATE score. After admission into this program, the students with 8 CGPA or above in first year can take a written test and/or interview for enrolment into PhD. Those who do not qualify for PhD can still complete their 2 year M.Tech program at IIT KGP. Here is the eligibility criteria for admission into the Joint M.Tech-PhD program at IIT KGP- Candidates need a BE/ BTech degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% for SC/ST/PwD). Candidates must secure a valid GATE score relevant to their qualifying discipline. In case of absence of a specific GATE paper for their specialisation, XE/XL/XH papers will be considered for selection. Candidates who have completed their B.Tech from an IIT with more than 8 CGPA on a 10 point scale can apply for admission without taking the GATE exam. The yearly tution/college fee that any general student need to pay for Mtech courses at IIT Kharagpur would be around 90000. This includes the tution fee 20000, caution fee of 6000, other fees like lab fee, development fee,other compulsory charges etc of around 25000 per semester. The SC/ST category students are exempted from the tution fee paument. But rest fees all the students need to pay per semester either be of any category.

For Mtech. Biotechnology yearly fee structure - Approx.114000 ( including hostel & mess). If you are GATE qualified student than you will get 12400 per month of stipend. From that stipend you may also pay your addmission fee and other expenses.

IIT Kharagpur Experience: Academics, Culture, and Beyond

In two years total fees around 2 lakh. In first sem it's much ,later it becomes little less.each sem approx fees is 50k .for reserved candidates their tution fees are waived. In mtech you will get 12400 each month in the two year tenure.their are certain others scholarship but you have to apply seperately for that. Like daad and some institute scholarship.

You can Learn life if you pursue M.tech -- trust me from all aspects.

Yearly 120000 40000 is tuition fee and rest is Hostel fee No scholorship is available here. There are many students here SC,ST,EWS, general. There are some scholoship available for those who want to purues P.hd , here it is named as DAARD scholoship. when your CG is more than 8.5 then you are eligible to pursue for higher education in Germany.

A Balanced Blend of Academics and Campus Life at Its Best

Total Fee is around 1,15,000/year.But For M.tech students (GATE qualified) get stipend RS. 12,400/- per month. Tution fee is less but hostel fees is more. Stipend will start after 2 months after the date of admission.

This is the best college. It's an IIT and the fees is too less. You'll get good resources, internships and placements. You'll get scholarship cum stipend of 12400 every month. The over-all rating of this college would be 10/10

The yearly fees i have given to this institutions is around 1 lakhs and 6 thousands in course of master of technology in material science and engineering in which the tuition fees is around 12000,caution fees of 6000 lab fees of 2000.For categories like sc/st the fees structure reduces by 5-6 thousand. I got the mhrd scholarship amounting 12400 per month

IIT Kharagpur offers an integrated course M.Sc. + PhD. in Molecular Medical Microbiology. The total fee of the course is INR 45,900. Admission to the course is done on the basis of IIT JAM.
