- Placements at IIT Kharagpur are very nice.
Dislikes
- The classes are held very far from the hostels.
- The mess food is poor in all the hostels.

The one-semester fee is 154830. The students whose annual family income is less than one lakh rupees get a 100 percent tuition fee waiver. The students whose family income is between 1-5 lakh rupees get a 67 percent tuition fee waiver.
