The unknown of college life

Likes

Campus area was good with healthy surrounding
Extra curricular activities and studies both were given equal preference
Girla and boys ratio were almost equal to each other

Dislikes

Least amount of placement options were there
Less faculties were there to take classes of some courses
Taking too long for any procedure of documentation

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was a commerce student in my 11-12th so I decided to chosse bcom in graduation and for this college because it was near my home and also a government college. The difficulty level was exam was low as almost every student managed to pass and as per the real worls applications i would rate 2 out of 5 for this degree. For improvement they should conduct workshops and practicals and also to look in the attendance system.

Presence and vibes of college

Likes

Education system is good and management level is far better than other college
Provide library books to students during their exam as well as help to solve query of students
Hostels are provided are proper facilitate

Dislikes

Rooms are not in proper management as there is no lighting in class

My experience in kumaun University

Likes

Environment and surrounding of college was connected to nature
Batch mates was very supportive and helpfull.
Professor was helpul and friendly in nature.

Dislikes

There was no internships and placement for student's.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the couce provide a vast field in researches ,PHD also in teaching fields . The couse also inhance the knowledge of students as course was divided into different papers . Preparations time was given before exams as student can prepare for their exams ,practicals were done regarding to improve learning.

Ranikhet college in a nutshell

Likes

Location is beautiful. Great amount of free space for students around the campus.
The view from most parts is extraordinary. 100° Himalayas visible round the year
Helpful and readily available teachers. Quite easy to contact the teachers. They do as much as they can for the welfare of the students.

Dislikes

Infrastructure can be improved a lot. Markings and directions can be placed at places.
The playground is big enough yet not good enough for any sport.
No clubs or society yet. Students with same interests are hard to find.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course carriculum is standard. The faculty is good. Three teachers, supportive and convienient to talk to. Easily and readily available. All of them PhD. Exam timings may vary and not extremely hard to pass, but it requires great efforts to score very good.

Term exams are held from time to time but in corona times exams take place online. The syllabus of college is very good to improve your skills and knowledge of their respective subjects. The passing marks are 33 percent.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Computer Science has good scope. In computer class, the ratio is 1 to 15, as fewer students are given admissions to computer science Faculty who are NET qualified and experienced with good teaching skills. There are semester exams and a deep analysis of the syllabus would lead you to get above 70% but if you want to 60 percent it would be okay to read important topics

Not every college is perfect

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I am interested in it and also in science specially in chemistry. Faculty is good, I am not saying best. Students ratio is good 50 to 60 students in a batch. Qualifications of the faculty is good. Teachers are kind and knowledgeable expect some teachers. Exams are held according to semester 1 semester is of 6 month. The exams are not difficult to me.

Remarks:

College is fully controlled by government and is fully seen by best professors of the country. All students are provided best education with a very low fees. The faculty helps the students to reach at their goals as much as they can. After all it is the best place to study in the beautiful valleys of almora.
