Fees is less compared to other B schools and Infact IIT is known for the best ROI and u can get the same package by investing less amount. There are various scholarships available that u can avail and there are some state scholarships also available.

Truth about DoMS, IITR

Fees and Financial Aid:

Fees including everything (hostel mess) was around 9 Lakhs for the whole MBA. This according to me isn't very high. But, there are government-backed scholarships available for those who are interested and any bank would be happy to loan you an amount in the name of IITR.

My program’s tuition fee was expensive, around ₹15,00,000 for a year. Also, my books and supplies were nearly ₹6,000 for a year. In order to meet my expenses, I applied for a fellowship during the submission of my application form and documents. The fellowship offered to me helped me a lot to bear the expenses.

My annual fee was around ₹4,00,000. The fee varies according to categories. I belong to the General category, so my fee was the highest. My books and supplies were around ₹4,000 per year. I was not offered any scholarship, and the fee was paid by me in installments through online mode.

I was very lucky as I had a long-range of scholarships and facilities included the James Thomason Scholarship, Air CMDR Shyam Chand Mehra Scholarship, Naveen & Anu Jain Scholarship etc. The fee which I required to pay for a complete year was somewhere around 2.5 lakhs and it was reduced by scholarships of the University. So taking loan was not required.

Does IIT Roorkee provide M.Sc. in Data Science for a B.Sc. (Hons) Mathematics graduate ?

IIT Roorkee does not offer M.Sc in Data Science. The university offers only M.Tech in Data Science at the postgraduate level. You must have a B.Tech degree from a recognized university to be eligible for admission.
