- The faculty is very helpful and active, with great professionalism, the way of teaching is very understandable if any doubts, they are always available to clear it without any problem.
- Infrastructure is so awesome the views at the campus are the best and you will fall in love with each and every corner of campus
- Also i liked the placements of the college that they provide the placements to the students in best companies and for the good job role as well.
Dislikes
- Hostel facilities are pathetic fungus in washroom mess too far away food is not upto the mark cost : 120000/ annum faculty is not quite responsive facilities not provided as promised everything is delayed
- The hostel mess food is also not good for the students
- The classes are held at different locations which really make us tired as we have to walk a lot to take another class

- GEU has maximum blocks of engineering colleges and IT block among them is the biggest of them all.
- Quality of infrastructure is top class as that is why our university has been ranked among the top cleanest university of Dehradun.
- Faculties are young and probably with regards to faculties they can be called Baby Armies.
Dislikes
- University overall is small and the area in which it is located is also congested.

Placement Experience:
McKinsey, Johnson & Johnson, Deloitte, Oracle and many others as there were indeed 20 odd companies this year which took CAE students and before the university could invite more companies, most students were already placed.

- I am loving the kind of new facilities that are coming here after each semester.
- Stalwarts from notes industries are invited for workshops to train us.
- Internships are now mandatory for engineering students and university itself helps in providing one.
Dislikes
- The campus for tech studies still lacks some facilities and therefore we have to keep doing up and down from main campus to our campus.

Placement Experience:
Oracle these days as some alumni of our college are working there and they have made them come to our university every year. Google and Amazon as well hired students almost every year from our college and because it's a batch of 900 students the average is 8 lakhs as some students even gets placements of 40-50 LPA every year.

- Graphic Era University is India's best private university in Uttarakhand atleast as no university or college ranks higher than ours.
- Most kids study here are from rich academic backgrounds from schooling.
- Even the faculties of ours have very strong academic background.
Dislikes
- I didn't like the vibe around our college as people are seen smoking openly on the streets right close to the university.

Placement Experience:
In GEU, placements are good and this was the main reason I took admission here. Companies visits here from Hyderabad offices and even Pune offices who doesn't just gives us jobs but intenrships opportunities too. Around 20% of the students even get PPO as our college teaching and training is such that getting job here is a cakewalk.

- GEU means business and there's the campus life here teaches us a lot of things apart from studies.
- Students here are from good civic society and thus no goon activities here.
- Even the management is of highest order here and they look after their students in the best possible way.
Dislikes
- Hostels are a real drawback as food at hostel is below par.
- Hostel timings are also very strict and therefore I live in a PG nearby.

Placement Experience:
LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

- The one I felt best part of college is the labs as we have industrial and normal computer labs which are world class.
- Our university sense students for internships at top corporate houses.
- University infrastructure is too good to be true as we have everything inside the small campus of ours.
Dislikes
- New tech campus is small and have to go to and from to the main campus as some labs are still in the main university campus.
- Students some of them are not into studies at all and therefore don't even complet their course and leave midway.

Placement Experience:
In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

- My first liking is the new tech campus as our facilities most of them are now available there and we can say we have our own seperate campus.
- The university parking as it is free and also we can park our vehicles over there during vacations as well.
- Faculties are a boon as they are Gods own people in terms of possessing knowledge.
Dislikes
- It's the campus size and number of students as campus is small and the number of students are quite high.

Placement Experience:
McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

- About our university there are endless things to be praised and one of them must be the infrastructure.
- Faculties should never feel that they haven't done enough as they are the main reasons why top quality students are produced by GEU.
- Nothing which can be complained about from a girls point of view as from clean washrooms to adequate security we have it all.
Dislikes
- Uniform is mandatory daily and that's a big big issue.
- CSE department has become too congested considering we have numerous students enrolled in IT and tech related courses in the university.

Placement Experience:
IBM, Accenture, TCS, Wipro, Amazon, HCL and Oracle are some names as over 100 tech companies send their requirements sheet to the university. The placement cell convey the same and asks students to be prepared for the interview for which we are trained too. Thus placements are easy here and one can find a way to work in their dream company if they work hard.

- GEU CSE program is better than that of any other university as top corporate houses have approved the same.
- Ever since the tech building has gone off main campus our facilities have doubled.
- Sports ground too is very well levelled as gardners are there in numbers in our university.
Dislikes
- Too many students and even BSc IT and BCA students have joint classes.
- Area of our university campus is quite small as main campus is just around 5 acres in all.

Placement Experience:
In GEU, the campus placements happens massively and top large tech building companies like Nvidia, Xoho, Flipkart, Oracle and many more come to our campus. Average may be 8 LPA or so but standout people have managed over 40 LPA from GEU campus in large numbers.

- Definitely the academics as not just they are strict but industry based as well.
- Campus life too is amazing as it offers so much more than academics.
- Our management is definitely the best as time and again they take students input to make any changes.
Dislikes
- Two campuses and we have to switch from here to there daily.
- Labs still need some improvement as since 2022 they haven't been upgraded.

Placement Experience:
Oracle, Microsoft, DeShaw and almost every company which needs IT services have looked upon GEU because we are trained that way. This is the reason our median has gone up and this year was a breakout year for placements for GEU as over 15-20 students were hired for packages of over 40 LPA.

- College life and extra curricular activities are conducted often
- Crowd is good depending upon the company you like you’ll find every sort of crowd here
- Everybody is crowded so you can get ahead of the crowd

- Management is shit every event isn’t managed properly
- Strict dress code policy if it’s not correct you’re advised to go back home
- Most buildings are outdated in terms of infrastructure
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for internship and placements in the 6th Semester
Most offers are made by Mass Recruiting Companies like TCS Wipro etc and offers made are on a average 100-250
Highest was 62LPA and average is around 4.5LPA
Percentage of students getting placement is low around 50%

What is your review of Graphic Era University?

Here is a brief review of Graphic Era University.
- The college infrastructure is average. The sports facilities are not good.
- The faculties have good educational backgrounds. But most of the faculty members don’t put in the required effort.
- The hostel accommodation is decent. The food offered at the mess is decent.
- The CS department has good placement records. Around 80% of students get placed from this branch. The average CTC offered at the institute is INR 5 LPA. But for other branches, placement chances are less than 20%.
- Graphic Era charges huge fees. A BTech degree costs around INR INR 13.32 Lakhs.
Overall, Graphic Era University is average at best.
