The course is delivered by a mix of permanent and guest faculty, with some excelling in teaching, such as Dr. Ankit Nagar, while others are less effective. PhD students also help with teaching. The well-structured curriculum includes three compulsory 4-credit subjects, a 2-credit Skill Enhancement subject, a 4-credit Generic Elective, a 2-credit Ability Enhancement course focusing on languages, and a 2-credit Value Added Course, totaling 22 credits per semester. Assessments comprise mid-semester exams (30 marks) and end-semester exams (50 marks), except for VAC and AEC, which have 80 marks exams, while internal evaluations include group discussions and assignments.
Despite the challenging curriculum, some students face difficulties due to the lack of back exams. Placement opportunities are available, notably for Language students, with companies like Maruti Suzuki and Amazon, and entrepreneurship is encouraged through collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Development Institute. Though no official internships are offered, faculty members provide internship links from organizations such as NITI Aayog. The BSc Hons Economics course fees are Rs 13,000 per semester or Rs 26,000 annually, broken down into Rs 7,000 for tuition and Rs 6,000 for other fees.
Occasionally, a Rs 200 student council fee is waived by court order. Fees are paid online, and a caution fee is refunded upon leaving. Fees are stable due to the university's government status, with possible variations after the first year or three years. Scholarships are available based on income, income and merit, or merit, with criteria including income and CGPA.
