I would recommend you choose IIT over NIT any day irrespective of the branch because it is recognized globally. At IIT Kanpur, I would advise you to go for Chemical rather than Civil. Ab Tak ka Safar iit kanpur me

According to me the academic are tougher in iit kanpur in comparison to other iits.

For one semester the total fee is around 130000 including mainly tution fees of around 1 lac, hostel charges of around 15000 and mess charges which vary. In each semester there are various scholarships and financial aid offer and if student fulfill certain criteria then he is eligible for it.

IIT Kanpur Honest review

There is not much but the attendance criteria in some courses.

Tuition fee is normal. However, there are scholarships if your income is low or you are a category student. If your income is less than 1 lakh, you get 100% scholarship. If less than 6 lakes, you only have to pay one third.

My review on iitk

The total cost of 4 years bachelor of technology in civil engineering in iit kanpur is rupees eight lakhs.As I am in hostel there is no service fee.I go to college by bicycle.There are no scholarships I have applied.The government of India providing me the whole cost of tuition fee.I will have to pay only my mess and hostel fee.

"IIT Kanpur "my dream

Scholarships are provided on various bases such as if you score academic excellence, in sports or sometimes it depends on your family income. The complete fee for general students is about 7-10lakhs. The maximum you can get 1lakh scholarship. I worked in certain clubs as secretary such as the Comunity Welfare Cell or Public Policy or Opinion Cell.

IITK - the best among

at the iitk the tution fee increses are usually moderate and are implemented to cover rising operational costs and improvement in infrastructure and facilities. in addition to tution fees students at iitk also required to pay various servise fees and other compulsory charges like hostel fee library charges, examination fees and other incindetal fee. iitk offers several scholarship and finaciak aid programs to support student in need like meri base need base and specific catagory like SC and ST and OBC. iitk provides various opportunity to gain income ,while studies going on.

The fee is a bit high considering it's a government college. It is around 250000 yearly but the facilities are decent. However if you are ews or oobc or sc st then the fees is very nominal for you. Also the fee hike is very less. Multiple scholarships are available.

The fees structure is very helpful for all students their are many benefits such as if your family income is less than 5lakh/annum then you should pay 1/3rd of the total fee and if your family income is below 1lakh per annum then your tuition fee is zero which benefits students from poor background and many scholarship also provided like mcm,sps and so on which is explained in detail at the college website
