Aligarh Muslim University: Pros and Cons

Likes

The University boasts a 2500 acre plot with many amenities and departments all included. The extensive lawns and picturesque spots are a visual beauty. The buildings are also of exceptional architecture.
The University has a peaceful environment overall. It facilitates research and reading.

Dislikes

The conservative nature of the people here, it brings alot of restrictions to dressing and get going.
Lack of proper administration in the hostel allotments. Hostel allotments are a hassle and require alot of political power. Proper allotment may take two years.

Placement Experience:

Campus Placement are available for end semester students. It's usually the PG students who can avail placements. But for UG students placements to teaching positions in private institutions are available. The average package is at 7LPA, with the highest at 10LPA. I plan to do post graduation and continue into a research.

Aligarh Muslim University - pros and cons

Likes

Various events are organised.. most of them are hosted by students in which there is a team including juniors and seniors..it gives a life time experience and lessons as well.. lessons vary from person to person due to their imaginative skills
Students and colleague are free to interact share thoughts among each other.. a healthy bond is share.

Dislikes

Various events that happens have their own negetive side that security of the students and other faculty members is compromised
With some extremely intorellent faculty members they just destroys your mental health making you feel like dumb not helping you at all to grow up

Course Curriculum Overview:

Wide range of fields. Can be practical in our daily life. Teach us about how important our mental physical and social life is. As psychology is subject that deals with humans mind it is very easy to appoint yourself as a counselor helping other members as well.

Campus life and teachers were supportive.

Placement Experience:

The quality of placement at my college was good and also gave many types of opportunities towards students. Almost 90% were placed every year. Highest salary package offered was 100000 per year. College was much supportive during placement.

LIFE IN AMU

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I was interested in psychology and social work related things. AMU is one of the best colleges because everyone wants to study at this university because it is well-known, and the teachers are also helpful and friendly, and the exams are of a medium level.
