Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent from a recognized university acquired through full-time or regular mode of education.

Minimum 60% marks in aggregate (of all years/semesters) or a CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale in the qualifying degree is mandatory.

Candidates with a Post-graduate degree in Science or Integrated M.Tech degree can apply for Ph.D. in related electrical engineering branches, though they may be required to complete two additional M.Tech level courses.

Admission Process

Candidates must register online and submit the application form along with required documents including academic transcripts, research proposal (2 pages), and proof of English proficiency.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for VITREE, a 2-hour computer-based test with 100 MCQs (70 technical questions, 15 English communication skills questions, 15 statistics and probability questions).
