There are no hikes in tution fees, it stays the same during all the 4 years. Financial aid is available for students. Even internships are provided by the college and can pay well and help financially.

The Experience Of Vellore Institute of Technology

The college offers different categories of fees according to the rank in the entrance exam and there is no increment in the tuition fee it is same for all four years. For me I got in category 3 so you totally including the hostel fee it is around 22L College offers scholarships and financial to the needful students and meritorious student.

Lack of Flexible credit system for students opting the TCS courses : Computer Science with Business Systems

Based on your performance in VITEEE , your prefered course and its tuition fee will be provided to you . THe fee structure goes as 2 lakh in category 1 and subsequently 3 lakh 4 lakh and 5 lakh , and if you wish to avail the NRI option like i did then direct 10 Lakhs but it does offer easier room allocation benafits as an NRI

A Clear Truth about VIT, Vellore campus

It is a quite expensive college as the fees are too high to be affordable. If you got a good rank then it's fine but 3,4 and 5 categories fees are too high. Nearly if you are of category 5 and opted for single room with special mess, then yearly approximately you need to spend 8 to 10 lacks If your rank in VITEEE is below 1000, then scholarship is provided. Campus placement are quite good and MNCs placement are in very good number.

Life at VIT Vellore

Fees are decent prices for a private university and the cost to study is good when you take the huge campus and all the facilities it offers into consideration. Placement offers will be given to students from the start of their third year onwards. You'll have to mandatorily either participate in an internship or get involved in some other project like the capstone project. Financial assistance from the university's side for research and competitive projects is also provided for talented students who need funds for their work.

Fees structure is good only for categories 1&2 otherwise the fees are very high. But students are also eligible for scholarships as they have to rank under 2000 in VITEEE. The placements percentage is very well in VIT.

Coming to fees structure it was not very high but compared to other institutions it was little bit high other than that it was very good.coming to scholarship vit helps the people who are really well talented and it gives a good scholarship. Merit Scholarships are awarded to the class toppers while economically disadvantaged students are provided need based on financial assistance for every year.
