The fee is very low when compared to other private institutions. We need to pay the examination fees but it is also very affordable and the overall cost of the study is very less. We can get a DFT Inspire award/scholarship if we become the topper of the class. Other scholarships may also be applicable for reservations.

All about Presidency College, Chennai (one of India's oldest college)

There is very less fee here since it's Government Autonomous College. During my course at the College, there was no hike in the fees. Regarding scholarships, all Central government and State government scholarships can be applied with correct guidance from the college. I was an inspiring scholarship awardee for which I got all the guidance throughout. Regarding scholarships under nsp (national scholarship portal), there is a staff-in-charge who will take care of all the related procedures.

My days in WCC

We have to pay once at the start of every semester, and it cost around 60000 every year. I did not avail any scholarship or assistance from the college. Also, I did not attend any campus drive conducted by the college.

Loyola the name stands

I have gone through the fee structures of various colleges but Loyola offers scholarship for most of the students are from a poor economical background as well as those who cannot offer the amount of fee. There is a center inside the campus named LSSS to offer students with financial and social help. It is the students help center run by the fathers . It also offers help to studentsby giving them jobs also. It also gives financial assistance to students who are staying in the hostels. There are various facilities which also i am not aware of. I got Mid-day meal scheme, where they offered food to students who are coming from afar. I also got fee concession from LSSS, where almost 60-75% of my fee is reduced,for some of my friends i have seen that they might get 90-95% fee reductions.

UNOM Experiences

Students with first-class ranks in their UG courses could apply and receive scholarships under INSPIRE Scholarship scheme funded by the Department of Science & Technology (DST). UNOM fee structure for PG courses ranges approximately 7k / year. The University and its departments encourage its students to undertake internships in Institutes all over India or even abroad, some of which offer a monthly stipend too. Acquiring letters of recommendation to apply to internships, jobs, higher studies is never a problem. I belong to the batch of 2018-2020. Right after completion of my course, the university conferred campus recruitment from The Cabinet Secretariat, Govt. of India. I'm sure I wouldn't have got this opportunity elsewhere.

The College in the Woods

No there are no loan facilities but lots of scholarship facilities are available in each department and the colleges too helps many financial poor students through different program. The Hall's have different scholarship for their residents too
