Our faculty members are very professional and good teaching and presentation slides are very nice.
The scholarship opportunities are not great but for financially backward students help is provided to support them.
Yes, the overall experience is good and the college campus is also good and well maintained.

Dislikes

They are quite approachable, yet they restrict a bit in teaching as they see others as competition.
There are no projectors inside the classroom for educational purposes.
Less than 25% of the students know english. rest all you have to deal with is incorrect grammar and wrong spellings.

Collage ambience , professors , faculties ,
Seniors bonding , events , extracurricular
Less fees , lees book fees , afoordable.

Dislikes

Canteen food , maggi only available , no gpay facility for big amount
Rain means water stagnation , unsafe collage
Any person can come in , no security , noo good classes

So easy to relate eceryday we have dissection practical theory and short group discussion . Good flow . Always available faculty . Bit fast compared to private collage . But can understand . For every 25 students theres will be one cadaver so we have over 6 cadaver

Friendly senior ,staff are also friendly
The celebrations are superb and we enjoy a lot
We have lot of freedom ,they respect our privacy

Dislikes

No proper infrastructure, roads ,streetlight
No proper washrooms in the hostel , low maintenance
Thefts and no actions are being taken place ,poor security in the hostels

I like the way of handling by the faculties and innovative ways they teach us .
The cafeteria and collgee playgrounds make it more interesting.

PRO'S AND CONS OF MY COLLEGE

Likes

Faculties and Facilities were more than good
Batchmates were nice and Communication with the faculties were very easy
Infrastructure is average and Social life is good

Dislikes

It is far from the entrance gate without vehicle it would take 15 mins walk to enter the campus
It is next to a engineering and arts college which makes it crowded on its way

Treating the needed ones made me choose this course and it is what pushea me through my career in this campus and curriculum is based on competency which is completely relevant to practical world and the improvement would be in demonstration rooms in the practical labs

Likes

They gives od for participating other College functions like culturals , sports activity and festivals.
College infrastructure is looks more awesome. They provide everything inside the campus.but it is not enough need to improve more.
Good and enough library , lab facilities more things are available to learn.

Dislikes

Need to improve gym facilities inside the campus and sports coach are very less need to improve.
I dont like the college hostel especially it is too costly poor food
Hostel food are really not worth need to improve food for that cost.

Neet ug is the way to choose mbbs, need to score good rank in need ug after that counseling will happen there according to marks seat will be allotment provided. Teaching methods power points and also chalk and board methods all 150 students in same lecture hall. University exams are three hours exam questions like clinical oriented questions.

I like central library in my college where i can get different author books
I like the postings so that i can learn many things
The cme which is conducting by my college is also appreciated

Dislikes

Unlike other colleges we don't have more culturals
There will be useless programs to waste our time
I don't like that my college doesn't have that much greeenery

Life changing decision- why did i choose Government Villupuram Medical College

The college is very academically supportive and disciplined
The proper schedule and academic schedule is maintained which helps to plan out our acadmeic schedule accordingly
The faculties are very approachable and sincere to their work

Dislikes

The extra curricular activities are not very frequently conducted
The support for encouraging extra curricular activities are some what less

I liked my college for mostly teaching methods and campus its looks amazing
Campus has all facilities like stores,canteen, food court,all available inside the campus. Infrastructure of my college also looks good. Lecture halls also great with filled A/c classes. Big screen monitor for teaching methods.
Faculties are amazing and well experienced doctors are there.

Dislikes

I most hated thing in my college is hostel rooms and foods. They provide is very poor no at all value for money it too costly.
They are not providing food for parents who came for visiting purpose.
Hostel rooms are non AC . Rooms are looks small its poor hostel.

In medical college no placements. They providing coaching for neet pg for higher studies. They tie up with the big partner for pg preparations. After completing ug for intern students they provide Rs.6000 for internship.

The teaching method and topics for each class is based on the gulidlines given by the Competency based medical education. The Final exam conducted at the end of each year is based on the gildlines given by the MGR university. Part completion test is conducted at the end of each unit as well as internal assessment is conducted at end 2 or more units.

Life in CMC

Likes

The faculties are more friendly than in other colleges
The staffs live nearby so whenever if we feel like to meet them , they'll be very happy to welcome us to their houses
The college has various fests which is filled through out the year.

Dislikes

The college as such is very good but the place vellore is pretty hot to handle.

Placement Experience:

The students in their internship will get around 35000 per month excluding their mess fees, they have the option to opt out of the mess. And once they finish their internship they had to do two years bond in places where the colleges allot them and the salary for those two years will be decided by the place the person goes and itll be definitely more than what they get during internship.

Admission to MBA course is done based on entrance exam and the candidate nees to have any medical UG course to be eligible.
