SRIHER Pharm.D Admission 2026
Admissions to the Pharm.D program at SRIHER are based on the SRIHER Entrance Examination (Group-A), which is conducted in English. The exam consists of 180 MCQs covering Physics (60), Chemistry (60), and Biology/Mathematics (60), with a duration of 2 hours and no negative marking. Candidates who have not studied Biology may answer Mathematics questions instead. Admissions for 2026-27 are currently open, with applications accepted until end of April 2026 (tentative).

Note: Tamil Nadu state quota seats for Pharm.D are also filled through Tamil Nadu NEET-based Pharmacy counselling conducted by the Tamil Nadu Health and Family Welfare Department. The 2025 Tamil Nadu NEET Pharm.D counselling reporting date was October 18, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 (HSC/CBSE/ISC or equivalent) with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, along with either Mathematics or Biology (Botany and Zoology).
- Alternatively, candidates who have passed the D.Pharm program from a PCI-approved institution under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act are also eligible.
- A minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the qualifying examination is generally required (45% for reserved categories).
Admission Process
- Register online at apply.sriramachandra.edu.in and pay the application fee of Rs. 1,000.
- Appear for the SRIHER Entrance Examination (Group-A) at the chosen centre (Chennai, Coimbatore, or Madurai).
- Merit list is prepared based on entrance exam scores.
- Shortlisted candidates are called for counselling and document verification.
- Seat allotment is done strictly on merit; no management quota is available.
- Complete fee payment and document submission to confirm admission.
