SASTRA Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the third semester, students are eligible for the campus placement, the shoppe has recently visited our campus and 4 people have been selected with 20LPA, here 100 per cent of the students get placed, and I want to get placed from the campus.

In Sastra Students are eligible for Placements from 7th semester itself.Every year more than 130+ companies visit sastra for Placements.And for our batch till now more than 100+ companies visited and the count is still raising.Almost 80% of students in sastra definitely gets their job in hand before leaving the campus.

Sastra is a better place for getting good placement opportunities. For our batch, almost 130+ companies came to our campus for hiring and the count is still going on. Sastra has more than 90% of Placements every year helping the most number of students to achieve the job of their dreams. I also got placed in a good company with a decent salary. Companies like Amazon, Walmart, Wells Fargo, Incedo, Deloitte...etc.and many others every year visit our campus for hiring.

The college is very popular for its placement quality. The college has a record of 100% placement. The college placement committee plays a very important role in providing good placement packages. As the college placement committee is full of professional and cooperative faculty with good industrial exposure with the help of their contact they are able to invite a good number of companies for placement. The highest package for placement is around 28 LPA and the average package was around 10 LPA.

We are eligible for placement after completing 3 years of our program we can opt for placement in the 4th year of our program. We have to fill out some forms in the 5th and 6th semesters for the placement and have to register with the placement committee so that we can take part in the placement process. The placement committee is dedicated and helps us to identify the companies as per our interests. The placement of Sastra University is very good and the college is popularly known for its IT placements. The highest package for my batch was around 25 LPA and the average package was around 9.50 LPA. The college has a record of 85% to 95% which is very good. I did not opt for placement because I wanted to complete M.Tech.

The students become eligible for campus placements after the completion of 6th sem . Many MNC companies visit Sastra University for placements , some of which are TCS, Accenture, Amazon. Nearly 90 percent of students get recruited by the companies .

The placement starts for the 3 years first sem the college starts preparing students and the company arrive from the second sem. Thus college is good in this section as more than 3000+ offers for 2500+ personal is great as many get multiple offers. But arrears are a no go for placement and need at least 7 cgpa to enter. Even so in the end, there is MNC to take care of you so can say with no standing arrears 100%.

SASTRA is very excellently known for its placements . Generally campus placements starts from 7th semester beginnning . But a few internship oppetunities are given for 3rd year students from 5th semester , but less . Many comapnies visit sastra some of them are TCS, Wipro, Accenture, IBM, Delloite, Optum, PWC, HP, etc. Mostly students with no backlogs will get placed. Around more than 70% students will get placed.

From the 6th or 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. According to our seniors, nearly 50 companies visited the campus and students with above average got 5-6 placement offers. Highest package-29 LPA, Average package- 5 to 7 LPA. Almost 70% of students get placed. I am planning to join into the best placement I got after getting the degree.

When compared to other deemed universities in Tamilnadu, Sastra's tuition fees is quite affordable and cheap. The admission is strictly based on merit and there is no donation or reservation. The seniors here are so friendly and there nothing called ragging here as the anti-ragging squad will be in rounds.The hostel life here would be great and you can adapt to this new life very easily.
