The Course Curriculum is well-balanced for steady and effective learning, with the best training provided for staying onboard and shaping the best marine engineers.
Yes, they provide internships as I did an internship at SOFT Shipyard, which is quite good for internships in Gujarat. They offer good practical knowledge and also provide a stipend of 5600 rupees, which feels good.

Dislikes

As of now, the placement record is very bad for BTech (me) in the Chennai campus as it has just started.
As long as I was studying in college, there was no scholarship or loan facility provided by the college. However, the Shipping Corporation of India had provided a scholarship of 48000/- for students below the poverty line, which I have availed twice.

If this was the topic in current situation am in 4th year and almost 80 percent of 4th year ar placed and there are again 12 companies on the way for placemet so no need to worry about just clear ur exams ull surely get placed if u have backlogs also ull be placed but u need clear before going to sailing that all my plan is sail for some years after i get the degree

Infrastructure is very good here you get everything inside the campus
Faculty and staff are well trained as per the course

Hectic schedule for college from 8:30 am to 4:40 pm
Early morning wake up for pt in the ground

Placement is very good in the campus. Most of them get placed inside the campus during the course only. If anyone left than also college give them 1 years opportunity to get placement from college only

Our college have the Asia's biggest marine workshop with several Marine engines and auxiliaries. And also various labs for gaining practical knowledge. All the facilities are highly professional and most of them are Chief Engineers.
There are different kind of sports in our college basketball, football, cricket, volleyball, badminton, kabaddi, table tennis and also there are gyms for every year hostels and also many types indoor games. So there are many things you can enjoy.

Dislikes

The most common thing a hostel dweller can complain about is the quality of the mess food. They need to look upon it.
Drainage problem during the monsoon of bengal somtimes some places get waterlogged. Although administrative actions are being taken everytime.

Placement Experience:

Almost everyone in the batch get placement if they want there are many highly reputed companies in the international markets come to take cadets such as Chevron, Shell, NYKSM, Eagle Star, Fleet Management, Anglo Eastern, Synergy, Torm Tankers, Dynagas etc. etc. almost 240/260 gets in campus placement. Cadets from the 4th semester are eligible for placements and for the lady Cadets they can sit for placements from 2nd semester.

Telling about the placement of the college from 2016 entry batch till 2020 entry batch(which is till now) have secured 100% placement record. Till now there is no case off unemployment if any chance college placement if not secured by someone then also my opportunity are there for the cadets of this college.

Life at tolani

The teaching staff is very good. They teach well
There are good facilities regarded to studies
