I found the college really helpful for me and not just my course, the other courses and streams in the college provide excellent education. It is one of the best institutes in India that provide Marine education. I had the time of my life in the college.
I personally give a positive remark to this college this is one of its best university for these courses. The taught us life lessons also and teach us how to deal with difficult situations. I cam reccomend this to my friends and others as well.
After studying from here we can get an opportunity abroad as well. There are many maritime training institutes within the country and many are considered to be good this is the best one of them. Hostel and cafeteria are really well maintained here.
The schedule is tight but you enjoy this college if you have an interest in maritime studies because every day you get to learn something new here. they proactively adapt the innovative methodology to enhance training effectiveness.
I have opted this course as I wanted an uniform job and an adventurous one. Indian Maritime University and it’s affiliated colleges were approved by Director General Of Shipping. These affiliated colleges were providing Continuous Discharge Certificate and the fees for this course was comparatively lesser in this college than other affiliated colleges. The most important thing that drove me to this college was the atmosphere and the accommodation was for single cadet per room and not only that our college had a ship TS Meenakshi in which we used to do our Internship.
I thank training ship Rahman for such great guidance and learning opportunities it provided to me. All the teachers, seniors, staff and students were very cooperative and helpful. I got many things to learn and innovate by studying in this college
I had an amazing college journey in Training ship Rahaman. I thank all the students whether seniors or batchmates who guided and supported me throughout my college years. It was a great experience studying in this college
The students who are interested need to fulfill some basic requirements of the course. For each course it is different. The admission is based on your performance in PCM and English in Class 12. The course is for a period of three years.
The eligibility criteria of the college is securing 60% marks in the 10+2 boards examination with at least 50% marks in English. My selection was based on my IMUCET score and my 10+2 boards score. Based on these marks a merit list is prepared and I got admitted accordingly.
