The university offers a petroleum engineering program, with 60 seats available in each department on a first-come, first-served basis. Admission is simple, either by contacting PSM faculties or through the university's online platform. The faculty includes experienced heads of departments, though there is a need for more knowledgeable staff. The engineering course fee for the 2019-20 session is 125,000 INR for both local and international students.
Scholarships are available for students with excellent academic performance to help reduce costs. The university has an average placement rate of 70%, mainly in non-technical fields, and supports internships at major universities and multinational companies. Students can access internal scholarships, as well as state government and MHRD scholarships. Additionally, there are two banks on campus offering student loans.
