Course Curriculum Overview:
Everything about this course is very interesting. It gives a new opportunity to students who are interested in food technology and engineering field. Since it is a 4 years course which gives us theoretical as well as practical knowledge. It includes many branches including meat, dairy, cereal, fruits and vegetables etc. which gives opportunity to explore new branches in food

From 77 store students are eligible for campus placement LNT Infosys companies visited in this campus about 70% students can apply for campus placement after completing my degree my plan is to join a company

- The campus is quite big around 78 acres. There are alot of trees in the campus which makes it look good . We have one indoor stadium one auditorium three academic blocks 5 overall hostels two open badminton courts one open court basketball court
- Hostel and mess facility is good. We have one dispensary that too is good.
- Gym facility is good a lot of equipments in the gym .
Dislikes
- Placement cell is not that good they just don't care about our placements
- We have experienced faculty but there number is very less
- The result comes out very late almost after 2 months after we give our semester exams
Placement Experience:
Students in 7th semester can get placements on campus . Companies like Cognizant, Infosys come and give around 5 6 LPA. The highest placement was given by ZSCALER around 14 LPA. The average placement of our university is 3.50 LPA. Every year around 30 35 % students gets placed

- Hostel staff take bribe for rooms which isnot good
- Less fest n events and less participation

The course curriculum is decent as most of the engineering colleges have. there are less number of teachers. There isn't much scene of attendance so chill 60% is enough. Keep yourself engaged in activities

The campus placements are held on a yearly basis companies helds interviews int the university and the final year students apply for the job placement and the qualified person or student gets the job and the placement percentage is about 70%

- Large grounds and open gym. Sports day i just love it

- Hostel is not that great there no washing machine in hostel

I was not interested in this course at all at first I was just visiting the campus in reference of some teacher then the faculty here really talked me into getting this course and hence I got it. it's really a great course now I love my studies

- There are good qualities water cooler and washrooms in every floor.

- Some of the teachers are not good as they are very rude with students.

The student become eligible to apply for campus placement from 7th semester onwords.The samsung and Amazon companies visited last year with 70 number of placement.The highest package was 14lakhs and average package is 5lakhs. Near about 63% of students get placement.

Course curriculum is uptodate according to AICTE the curriculm is well designed and is based upon the practical approach focussing on the overall development of a person and not just on the scores we can surely get a job the faculty is vergy good in nature i am a BTech CSE student

The curriculum is good at Punjab Technical University as they follow almost all guidelines which is made aicte and technical board. All departments are always up to date on curriculum and other official work. The faculties are helpful.
