Scholarship like post-matric scholarship, e-medhbruti, kalia scholarship etc are available.
Teachers are well, good and caring. they make us feel like a school.
I like many things in my college. our class room is awesome . i do like very much.. our library is such a good library.

Dislikes

I don't like many things in college. Such worse environment in our college. Always people try to quarrel in with us.
Food of the canteen is very bad also not a single shop is in the 125acres of campus
There is always problem on water and electricity

Likes

I liked the faculties they were so good. They are well experienced and helped me a lot in my college life. They guided me every time. They were available any time for us.
The campus was full of greenery. Everyone will love the campus no matter what.
There are different clubs for different activities. College also gives funds for them which helps students to participate in competitions.

Dislikes

Offices are not placed in a planned manner. Pike after completion of work from one office you have to go to another building for the other office.
Faculties were good and teaching was very good but they should help students to learn how real life projects work.
College should provide internship opportunities from 2nd year itself

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I love computers and I have deep intrest in computer science sk I choose this course. I learned much necessary things in the college. College should help and provide skills according to the students. There were hackathons done by the college which is a good step towards the development of students. The main focus should be in the practical knowledge than the thoery as in real world students have to deal with projects where labs practices play a major role.

Likes

The faculty they provide is very good and experienced
They have all the necessary things that a student need
Extracurricular activities are done very frequently

Dislikes

Environment between students are not good enough
Canteen is also not that good , they provide hostel but poor quality
Maintainance of the college is very low.

Placement Experience:

Placement are there but package don't go as expected so I suggest you to find internships and not dependent on college because placement is not good in this college but they will help you to grow in the field

The GIET Experience: Learning, Networking & Unforgettable Moments.

Likes

Friendly teaching staff. Very cooperative . The faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. Most of the use ppt for understanding and some use theoretical methods and real life examples for teaching which is very much beneficial to students.
The campus is very surreal. The environment is full of greenary and in rainy season the mountain looks awesome which gives students a positive mindset,which is actually necessary for most of the students.
Seniors are very good and helpful. No ragging is there , neither in the campus nor in the hostel . The environment is friendly and joyous.

Dislikes

College washroom : very unhygienic and awful. The washrooms are not cleaned daily. Stinking smells are coming from the washrooms.
Bus driver are some good but others are very rude. They think themselves to be the head of the college.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from 6th semester (3rd year). Some companies allow internships in the 3rd year, which may convert into full-time offers. Companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Wipro visited to the campus, and select a decent amount of students. The average package for placement is between 3-4 LPA. Though the college promise to give 100% placements but it is generally 80-90 % percent which is quite good .

The atmosphere is so good . Faculty is very friendly and supportive u can find the people from different states as well as countries .the classes are also regular and maintaining the 80 percentage attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

To choose this course the main thing is very experienced faculty and interst in research and to thrive in future. placement was also very nice .There are four cycle tests happen in a year two per semester

Placement are also good for the btech mtech students replacement also provided in GIT University and average package is 50000 and highest package 8 LPA it is also good University in eastern Odisha and also india

I provide better facility such as library kal facility and different type of fooding facility etc

The college environment is good but I didn't like is a faculty members
More Paradise is given to the Telugu student
If you do complain on any of the teachers they must take the revenge oponit

Placement Experience:

In my college there is a good placements but in my branch there is much and much good placement age it provide minimum package of 40000 and the less package that is may be rs 20000 to 30000 and the maximum package is around 60000 and the internships are being provided

Revealed all pro's & con's of my University

Likes

The aspects of my college that I appreciated with the academic session
In my branch they offer various internshipps and career guidance so I appreciated that
The placement is overly good and the scholarship provided by the Odisha Government each 20000 INR which is very good initiative

Dislikes

The most and most disliked about my college is the mash food which is totally worst in my life
The telugu teachers are more partial which is bad
Any type of outer knowledge is not being provided as it only focus on studies and no any outer academic excellence

Placements come from many companies. Every students seat in placement drive. If the student eligibility criteria match the job then he or she get the job opportunity. And my plan is to complete my btech then join an reputed company with good package.

I like that infrastructure of my college
I like the environment where college is located
This college is in Odisha and it has a good culture

Dislikes

Like I am from jamshedpur and I don't know odia so face some difficulty in location of this college because all people don't know english and hindi they only know odia
In my college there is no freedom for girls even not a free environment for male and female even to talk freely in campus
There is an orthodox environment even we are not allowed to sit with girl in library at last I wanna say we are not live in place where we are not even allowed to talk to girls

Placement Experience:

Like I am in first year but I have get to know about placement from my senior as they said our college will help us more and more to get a good placement and even they start to train their students even in first year like we are having classes and then we get 3 hour placement ready training everyday

Placement Experience:

Form 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements.Tcs, infosys and many known companies take mass requirement here. Highest was 15 LPA here. After degree I would like to have a job for my own.
