Course Curriculum Overview

3

College can improve their lab facilities which are way too old than the NIT's and IIT's. They can improve their college faculties intake, based on their education background and highest qualification.

Placement Experience

2

I had been offered a placement of 3.6 LPA in a Dehradun construction company. Highest package is of 12 LPA from Byju's while average is of 2.5 LPA. I am currently doing MBA after completing my graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

We used to pay Rs 63000 per year for academic purpose. People who belong to SC/ST categories used to pay less or who are from EWS category used to have less academic fee. Scolarships used to be provided to SC/ST category students, who used to get around odd Rs55000 per year.

Campus Life

3

We used to have Tech Fest once a year where celebrities are invited and functions are there for 4 days. In morning we used to have branch fest where we used to organize branch wise competitions. We also had robotics club, music club, dance clubs etc.

Hostel Facilities

4

They used to give one bed, one study table, one chair for each person in college. Canteen meal is not that good, generally we used to order food from outsise restaurant. The hostel is totally available for all year students.

Admission

I had given MHCET exam, I was getting a seat in government college in Maharashtra also but in CSE branch. I wanted to do my engineering in mechanical engineering, that's why I shifted here to this college. I had given JEE to get an admission in this college. Admission process was conducted by OJEE and that was online only where we were allotted seats in respective colleges and branches according yo the rank secured in JEE.

Faculty

3

Faculties to student ratio is almost 1:30 here. There are two semesters conducted per year. Exam difficulty level is moderate to difficult type, if scored above 33 out of 100 you will be passed in that particular subject. Otherwise you will have back in that particular subject.

Night Life

3

We had an open air gym. We used to have cafeterias in college campus in utility block area where you can get momos, sandwitch, and icecream and many other things. Hostel in timings was around 11 pm at night. Locality is not that safe where the college is there, it is little unsafe when you roam around outside college.

Remarks:

Positive: A lot of exposure to the external environment. The diversity factor is high. Negative: The fees are quite high. But the things they would be providing are worth it. Lastly, a great salute to the KIIT TnP.

Remarks:

KIIT University is a heaven on earth for students. I would suggest. Please do apply for this university if you are interested and you won't regret. The only bad part, it's a private University. And people don't realize it's worth saying it's not a government University so they won't be able to provide jobs. It's a myth. Infrastructure and exposure wise this university is the best.
