We used to not have holidays on Saturdays
Timings of lectures were from morning 9 to evening 4
Scheduling extra lectures before exams were tough

Course consists of 11 modules for mechanical stream. It is about 70 percent practical and 30 percent theory. Sometimes if we were lagging in portion the management maybe rushed the course a little to be on time

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and easy to learn understand according to me after going through the study materials. The curriculum is well prepared and applicable to real work and day to day life. Teaching method is student oriented and curriculum motives for further studies. There's only one exam conducted annually at the end of the academic year and difficulty level is average.

The placement eligibility start right from the last year, before the final exams. Many companies visited during that time like Jagaad marathi news agency, Aaj tak, times of India and much more. Visit the website to know more about it. I think about 40%-60% of students get placements. I am now planning to pursue higher education from the same university.

Distance learning Advantages and disadvantages from YCMOU NASHIK

Distance learning is beneficial for the students who cannot attend classes regularly, there is no age bar for education thats the best thing I love about Distance education. Sunday classes so that everyone can manage to attend it

Even though many students dislikes constant prodding from their teachers it is efficient in increasing retention. Absence of face to face interactions,compromised communication skills, rotational social isolation, technological setbacks

Distance learning allows all age group of people to enroll their higher education. Financial constraints are one of the main reason I chose distance education. The take classes on every sunday how ever i have attended the sunday classes they teach in a excellent manner so that every person can understand it in depth

I choose this course because I want to do my career in IT field.there are total 60 students in my class and there are 37 boys and 23 girls.the faculties are nice and the way of explaining concepts are unique the exam are held twice in a year.

I wanted to pursue bca so I chose the course. Faculty is good having students more than 25 in the class. Teachers and other staff are well qualified. The teaching method is average. Exams are taken semester-wise ( twice in year)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am from a Humanities background so took Political science subject. The faculty-student ratio was not fixed after all it was open university. The faculties for respective subjects were well qualified and the teaching method was traditional. There was only a yearly exam and before the exam, I needed to submit assignments for my chosen subjects. The difficulty level is like any other university exam.

YCMOU is a UGC approved and Maharashtra government approved open university in Nasik. It offers distance learning education programs in a variety of fields including Humanities and Business. These degrees are mainly part-time degrees. The following points highlight the aspects of studying for an MBA program from the institute:

Fee Structure, Eligibility, and About the Course:

The total cost of studying for an MBA program at YCMOU is INR 32,500.
The program is a two-year program that involves students studying part-time for the degree.
To be eligible for the MBA course at YCMOU, students must complete their graduation with at least 45% marks.
They may also be required to appear for an entrance test held by the institute.

Program Curriculum:

The program is split into two years where students are expected to learn a diverse number of subjects that come under the field of business management.
Each year is further split into two semesters each.
Students will learn topics like human resource management, production, and operations management, course electives like cyber-security, communication skills, or languages like German, etc.
As the years progress, students will also be given specialization subjects and compulsory project work during the second year.

Evaluation:

Evaluation is mainly done by the means of continuous assessment of 20 marks and an end examination consisting of 80 marks in total.
