- The teaching faculty is excellent. they are expert and have a very good knowledge about the topics.
- Scholarship will be soon arranged for the students who achieves by giving a test and is eligible for scholarship.it is important to be able to provide scholarship for althose who are in need .they need to be helped .
- Students will absolutely enjoy their campus life as there are various fests, different days are celebrated and the campus itself is very beautiful to enjoy.
Dislikes
- I don't like the faculty member of these college, also the hod is a liar.
- The admission process was not that difficult but the website was very bad to handle...
- Big line for paying fees, fees structure, no online payment available for many colleges

- Teachers and teaching is good. Most of the syllabus is covered in class by the teachers. Many seminars and workshops are also arranged by the college for us. Labs are well maintained with all the instruments available. Study tours are arranged for us
Course Curriculum Overview:
I personally liked the subject I chose for my post-graduation studies. The teachers prepare us for the exam in class itself. They cover the syllabus and take our practice of the exam and gaining knowledge. The timing of the exam is a little issue in our college. The college provides us with only 2 hours 30 minuutes timing for 60 marks theory exam.

- Lectures are taken on given time and most of the teachers are supportive, seminars are taken very frequently
- They take feedback from each student after the semesters ends, perhaps they also take this review seriously
- Library faculty is very very good, I like most library facilities of this college
Dislikes
- I think fee is to much high, and maximum students don't get scholarship
- I asked seniors about placements, and very few students were placed and the reason said by the college is recession, this disappointed me
- Distance, from my location it's 30 KM (up and down) this waste my 2.5 -3 hour's in travelling, and many students face the problem of long distance
Placement Experience:
During the admission process they said you will get 100% but when I asked my senior they said tech companies are not visiting our college and most of the opportunity are of sales and marketing, very few students were placed, but in 2022 many tech companies visited our college my classmates who have done bachelor's from MIT said me but in 2024 very few.
Students are eligible for placement in Last year of there degree
In 2022 placement was around 490 in 2023 around 200
Average package of college is 3.5 lpa and highest was 10 lpa
I think in class of 100, 20 - 30 students get placed even low this year
After getting degree I am going to do job and may be I can prepare for gates but priority is job

- The faculty is very nice and educated and each teacher here in the department is a PhD!
- The lab provides good computers and is accessible anytime in college hours
- The campus is very green and peaceful for students!
Dislikes
- The department is very small, it is not that big.
- The batch strength is only 42...some seats don't get filled up
- The placement committee need more support from faculty
Placement Experience:
The placements are actually very nice since if you study well, all of the students can be eligible for placements and there are various companies which visit on campus for hiring so there is always a chance of 100% placements here. The highest package goes upto 14 LPA.

- College premises is the first attraction , big convenient and green. Also college has big playground in which most of the state level players
- College has many sections as different faculties which is fulfilled with the materials and equipments related to the relevant course
- College placements are the third most liked features about the college
Dislikes
- Every class room has 140 students, it should be 80 to 100 because it's hard to look up for 140 students overall growth
- Students outside the college has access to premises ,it should not be
- Fees structure for open category is very high
Placement Experience:
From the third year of bachelor's degree and last year of post graduation placementors are comes to offer you jobs as per your qualification. One of my college student got placed in google with 43 LPA package , many more companies like lupin, cipla , vedanta , wipro etc. Are the most likely placements students love. 90 percent of students got the jobs from placents , and remaining students prevfers civil services and government exams to make career in. If anyone not got placed then college look forward to deal with local companies if students agreed with it they gets placed . After my degree if company gives me the best package I am looking for I would join the company.

Placement Experience:
palcements are done through commite of experts in the field , forms are filled in toffline mode , average CTC offered is around 4lakh .around 14 companies participate for recruitmnet process in field of biostatics, IT / IIT , finance and consulting.companies like tata motors, novartis,GSK,Cystl , Tvanat technologies. etc.recruit students for the company. my plans after getting degree is to get into teaching filed and helps students with their academics chemisrty .

Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose biochemistry because of my graduation teacher . They guide me about biochemistry. Biochemistry is a core science it includes so much concept related to our daily life. Further academic options is also there.

- Only 1-2 companies come for Placement interviews
- In some departments Do not have required lab instuments while practicals
Placement Experience:
There are placements available at Fergusson college and those who qualify the interview round definitely get the benefits of those placements. The companies that visit for placements are Enzene, syngene, byjus etc. No such percentage is considered of students while interviews it's just your behaviour and efforts while talking in an interview my plan after getting a degree is to join the pharmaceutical industry.

- Expect from mess.Here in campus many canteen are available one can hotels.

- They should build more hostel . hostels are not sufficient.
- Only one stationary shop in whole unversity so their is Monopoly of that ower.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I was willing to do my MSc in Physics I have interest in physics since my school days. Faculty: student ratio is 1:4.. Faculties are highly qualified many of them have done their post-doctoral from international institutes. So I will say you should not doubt about the quality of the faculty. But one drawback is the faculty is very strict. Every semester is of 4/5 months. In each semester one has to pass the internal exam (50 marks) and external (50 marks) And combine 40 marks to pass the subject.

- The infrastructure of the university is too good. It is well reputed and always in the top 10 in NIRF ranking.
- The administration department is good. Every process is smooth and we do mot face any difficulty in any work
Dislikes
- Campus placement is not good for traditional courses.
- Hostel facility should be improved more and more student should get hostels
- There should be transport facility in university too.
Placement Experience:
As the course is MSc Physics there is not so much campus placement opportunity but yet some ed-tech companies like Byjus come here to take students. Here in the department more focus in on research and to do PhD not on job placement. So think twice before taking this course.

What is your review of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU)?
Saikat Das,studied at Savitribai Phule Pune University (2020)
One of my friends recently graduated from Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). According to her, it is better to do anything rather than joining this institute. She mentioned some of the reasons that made her feel this way.
- The institute only focuses on making money and not actual education.
- The syllabus and curriculum followed by the institute are outdated.
- Practical training is not properly given, making students lag behind the industry demands.
- Basic things like a proper academic calendar are not provided.
- Re-evaluation is time-consuming and usually not done properly.
- A 60% from SPPU is not considered good enough for admission to other colleges. They do not consider it as first class.
- They are known to have the worst and uncooperative staff members. They are not at all helpful or considerate about any problem.
It is suggested that you do not opt for SPPU as they are highly unprofessional. They do not have a proper way to conduct classes, assemblies, extracurricular activities and get involved in everything half-heartedly. SPPU is a good example of how a university should be not.
