It's decent college and better than many other colleges.

Likes

I really like the curriculum and faculty members as they really want to help us progress.
I also like the way they have added different types of value added course in between.
The way they made compulsory to do internships in between your summer breaks as it really helps you to know the field better.

Dislikes

The only thing to dislike is about the campus size.
It would have also been better if there would have been sports facilities available in the college itself
There is no campus only, no playground nothing, it's just a building

Placement Experience:

The company's start approaching in the 5th sem only and company like trestvista, ZS, Crisil and all come to college and average placements is around 7.2lakhs and around 55-60 students gets placed and other student who don't seats for placement pursue their higher education.

The faculty members of the University is very knowledgeable and experienced
The course structure for BBA-IT is very well put together
The placement opportunities and internship provided are very good

Dislikes

The campus area of the college is small as it is located in the residential area

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from their final year. The placement cell organises seminars, workshops, live sessions to prepare students for their career paths. There are prominent companies that visit some of which are Deloitte, Mahindra, Philips, HSBC, Accenture, federal bank etc which hence shows the strong industry ties of the institute. Highest package for BBA-IT is 24.56LPA. Average is 4.98LPA.

My College Experience: Symbiosis Law School, Pune

Likes

The best thing is you get a lot of opportunities to network with other people.
Guest lectures are often conducted where judges and advocates from all over India visit, sometimes even international personalities.
The faculty is pretty understanding and helpful

Dislikes

The curriculum can get very tiring as it demands a lot of your time.
There is discrimination between the 5 year course and the 3 year course.
There are way too many subjects taught in each semester to cope up.

Placement Experience:

Students of the 3 year course become eligible for campus placements after the 4th semester. Firms like Khaitan and Co., Trilegal, AZB visit the college for placements. Highest packages have gone up to 12 lakhs per annum with average package being 8 lakhs per annum. Around 60% of students get placed. I plan to sit for collelge placements as I want to get into coporate law.

As our college provides a lot of Opportunities too interact woth the pther clgs that are in our campus like we can participate
The Faculties are very friendly they help us a lot whenever we have doubts or we need mentor ship for aur project and reserach papers

Dislikes

There a disadvantage that as our college have not yet started the placement 2024 pass out batch

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the Placement in 4th Year . As this is first batch that will pass out so we dont know the Avg Package . But SIT Pune will be assisting our college with placements. I am going sit for Placement after my degree.

The ambience, environment, a sense of security

Little high competition and tough curriculum to cope

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course being MBBS is definitely a tough one but it is quite exhilarating too. The course trains us in such a manner that we can prepare for our postgraduate exams too. It also trains us to learn and avail from foreign too.

The faculties at my college are really experienced and teach well
The opportunities college provides in terms of mooting

Dislikes

The placement opportunities could be better
The college could improve opportunities for academically weaker students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The diverse range of subjects covered by SLS is pretty helpful the course provides various options with regards to electives and the students get an opportunity to learn the subjects they have an interest in.

Likes

I liked how the faculty taught the subjects in a well defined manner
The campus life here is very enjoyable, you make friends easily.

Dislikes

I disliked the mess food in the hostel, they could improve their quality
I also don't like the fact that we have to make journals for our practicals which is time taking and not needed

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course which I have taken is electronics and telecommunication which is considered to be the toughest course . I took this course as I wanted a balance between my coding journey and also due to my love in electronics . Although the course is easier to understand, there are few courses which are outdated and can be updated with the current situations and scenario. Sometimes I feel that the time given to study for exams is less but again it's on the student and how he / she pays attention.

When I entered the college everything was transparent
The infrastructure they provide is good and they also give subscription to some softwares
The faculty was well trained and the teaching methods were great

Dislikes

The campus is a bit small like only one building for SIT
Sometimes the teacher student bond is not there
The annual fest might happen might not happen

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is from fourth year and their are quite a huge number of companies which come here and startups too come cause it's too good for student and about 99 percent student get placed who are. Eligible for it

Beautiful campus , necessary labs are there, teachers are friendly

Dislikes

Management is not that good, delays in announcing result

Placement Experience:

As far as I know, placements are good. This year the highest placements were recorded in branches like CSE,AIML. Placements start from 7th sem , there is a placement cell in college which manages to bring companies in college. The highest placement this year was around 40 lakhs , and the average stood at around 8 lakhs. According the college's statistics , the placement percentage is 100%. I will most probably take the college placement

A Student's Career Journey With Symbiosis

Likes

Infrastructure, various facilities such as library, computer room, balcony, smart boards, etc
Campus has a juice centre, Gym, canteen, studio, Kinara store, Xerox machine and ATM
College life is fun with amazing fests, events and active clubs.

Dislikes

Too much competition but giving corporate exposure experience
Sometimes it was difficult to manage various things at once such as studies and college life
Expensive area but beautiful views of the sky and accessibility to many things

Placement Experience:

- Campus placements starts in the final/third year of college - Companies such as TresVista, KPMG, PWC, Delliotte, Zomato, Swiggy, Zara etc. come and the average package is Rs. 5 LPA - Highest package was Rs. 8 LPA and lowest was Rs. 3.5 LPA - 90% of the students gets placed - I plan on pursuing CFA after college.
