RVSKVV Gwalior was established as second Agricultural University after bifurcation of JNKVV, Jabalpur. RVSKVV offers B.Sc, M.Sc and Ph.D. programs in the streams of Horticulture and Agriculture at undergraduate, postgraduate & doctoral level.
Candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya. To secure admission in UG courses at RVSKVV is to pass 10+2 from a recognized board. For PG programs, a candidate needs a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university.
Admission to B.Sc course is done on the basis of marks secured by the candidate in the entrance examination conducted by VYAPAM i.e MP Pre Agriculture Test (PAT). While admission to M.Sc & Ph.D. programs is done on the basis of scores obtained in Joint Entrance Examination Conducted by MP online limited, Bhopal.
Apart from the PAT, candidates with valid Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) test score will be given preference at the time of admission to B.Sc course

RVSKVV offers B.Sc in the streams of Agriculture & Horticulture through semester system. Selection to B.Sc course will be done on the basis of score of Pre-Agriculture Test (PAT) conducted by the Professional Examination Board (VYAPAM), Bhopal .
Note: Candidates selected through ICAR entry test are admitted over and above the prescribed seats from time to time.

A joint online entrance examination is organized every year for admission to PG and Ph.D. programs offered by the RVSKVV) and Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (JNKVV), Jabalpur.
A common merit list is released for the shortlisted candidates on the basis of their performance in the entrance. The candidates who qualify for online counseling are considered for allocation of seat in the desired course.
Candidates of JNKVV and RVSKVV are given priority and called for the first counseling. Candidates of other universities are considered for second counseling only if the seats remain vacant after the first one.
The minimum qualifying marks in the entrance examination are 40% for unreserved & OBC categories, and 30% for SC & ST category candidates. The University does not offer direct admission to the M.Sc & Ph.D. programs. Merit in the entrance is the only criteria to secure admission.

Admission to Ph.D. program at RVSKVV is done on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the Joint Online Entrance examination conducted by RVSKVV & JNKVV, Jabalpur.

RVSKVV B.Sc Application Process: Candidates can apply online for MP-PAT on payment of INR 500 (INR 250 for reserved categories) as application fee.
RVSKVV M.Sc & Ph.D. Application Process: Application forms are available on the official website of RVSKVV. Candidates can apply online on payment of INR 600 (INR 300 for reserved categories) as application fee (non-refundable).

To get admission to the university you have to take the Pre-Agriculture Test (PAT) which is conducted Professional Exam Board (Peb) MP. You have to score sufficient marks so that according to category merit you get selected. Without Entrance, you will not take admitted in this university

In my college first I fill the PAT exam from online then I give the PAT exam and I clear the cutoff In my st category then I am eligible for agricurtual colleges, the fess of my college is 16000 . In my college schlorship is also provide by government, Medavi schlorship and postmetric schlorship etc

To be eligible for admission to a master's one should have completed his bachelor's degree in agriculture discipline from a recognised university. The application form is available on the university website and the application fee ranges from 1000-1500. Application is available from 15 April onwards.
