Course Curriculum Overview

4

In course curriculum their are 4 main subjects of your department , 2 Minor subjects of some other department and 4 other subjects which are statistics, library, communication and technical writting and ipr , so everything is good with main stream subjects but minor subjects should be optional like other agriculture colleges ,and in other subjects we find subjects like library useless .

Yearly fees for hostellers will be 55000 approx. And for non hostellers it will be 45000 approx. In free seat and in payment seat it will be 1 lakh in for hostellers and 90000 for non hostellers, In masters program in all categories, and in course for msc in biotechnology their is 10000 extra fees for lab , as in mp u get post metric scholarship if u are from sc,st and obc category which returns all tution fees, and if u got admission through icar ,u get scholarship from icar which is 6000 per month

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel need renovation, worst washrooms, rooms have termite and water leakage issues , mess food is good and i like it definitely, hostel is so affordable as it cost only 2500 per semester and for registration u have to apply for hostel during admission time in academic section, locality is good and u get cheap price rooms nearby

I got admission through msc. entrance exam which is called jnkvv & rvskvv common entrance exam which is of 100 marks and cut off is 40 marks for obc and general students and 30 for sc and st student , it's notification is made available on official website of jnkvv and rvskvv or mponline , i got allotted this college in its counselling process , in its first counciling only students graduated from jnkvv and rvskvv are allowed , in its 2nd councilling only students from mp state are allowed and in 3rd counciling students from other States are allowed , in 1st and 2nd round their are 50% free seats and reservation for sc st obc ews and women while in 3rd round their is no reservation

Faculty

5

Faculty are easily approachable ,one of the best faculty i liked is my department professor solanki sir as he is so supportive toward students and take proper classes but in case u ask best faculty on basis of knowledge it is shushma tiwari mam , Their are mid term, practical and theory exams , mid term are of 20 marks , theory are of 80 and practical exams are of 50 marks , exams are difficult as only 70% students clear them 30% leave the course in mid year .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a very keen interest in studying biotechnology for agricultural aspects. As biotech advances technological aspects of agriculture help in increased yield and better farming with reduced diseases and infestation. these aspects of biotech made me choose this course. In RVSKVV, Gwalior, there is a well-maintained lab for research work in agricultural technology. learning practically about DNA isolation techniques, and gene manipulation techniques using PCR and gel electrophoresis helps develop an in-depth experience in research work which prepares me for real-world research work. Improvement areas could include, hiring more lab professionals in the department.

Remarks:

1. Some professors do not come on time to college due to which they get late for their lectures. And not only this they send guest faculty in place of them for teaching students which is not right. 2. Scholarship of students do not arrive on time in their account.
