Lab facility is very good. teachers are very nice and friendly.
Best lecture halls to study here and best facilities like indoor sports complex with olympic size swimming pool.
Placements and internship opportunities are great here. great coding culture and supportive environment by seniors.

Dislikes

The mess is too far from the hostels is also one thing i disliked i need to rush to college from mess if mess is near it would be better
I hated the power cuts in my college which occurs sometimes at night which disturbs my sleep
The mess food on few days of week is very bad.

living in IIT-a dream life

Likes

infrastructure is huge and campus life is as expected just living my dream life
cultural fests are very good and engaging
placements are good and overall environment is also great.

Dislikes

there is a connectivity issue due the location in Simrol which is 22-25 km from main Indore
there are no buses to Indore at night time and cab will charge 700-800rs in night
its a new Iit so alumini network is not as strong as old hits

all big companieslike google , microsoft,amazon, etc. visit our college,highest package this year was 78lpa domestic and average stood at about 22-23 lpa . my plan is for a startup after getting a degree

i liked all the clubs in the college and the campus as well
the sports facilities are outstanding. coaches are also present for each sport.
also liked the canteen and the mess food

Dislikes

i don not like the double occupancy room.
classes are whole day. not getting enough time for myself.
indore city is too far away from the college.

Students can get internships and placement offers from the college from the third year only. all the companies that visit offer placements to the students. the highest package for the last year was about 61 lakhs and the average was about 18 lakhs. About 80-90 percent of the students are placed. I will definitely go for a high-paying job after getting graduated.

Hostel are very good and neat and clean.
Campus is very neat and clean with very nice greenaries
Lab facility is very good. Teachers are very nice and friendly.

Placement Experience:

There are various companies that come here for placement. Mainly placement for biotechnology students is at biopharma industries and edtech companies. The average package is 10 LPA. But students can also sit for IT companies where the package is 20-30LPA.

i liked the facilities of the hostels and cleanliness
Cleanliness in mess and food areas and use of dustbins everywhere

Dislikes

Infrastructure of the campus is not so good
i didnt like the taste of the food though it is healthy

by 7th semester students get their jobs and campus placements. Companies like zomato,amazon visited our campus. The average package is 25 lakh per annum, highest package is 68 lakh per annum for this year,

They are quote good and increasing placements year by year from sem 4 students can do internships and from sem 5 or 6 may be they can get placed in computer science 100 percent are placed. my plan is to get a good placement in top companies of the world

A wonderful experience in IIT INDORE

Likes

Coding culture is nice and good and very competitive
Hostel facilities are good and class rooms as well
Faculties and placements are good and fine

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from 6th semester. Many companies visits our college like google, amazon, flipcart, and many more. Highest package of our college is 65 lakhs per annam and percentage of students placed is very high.

Life at iit

Likes

I like hostel facilities infrastructre and cleanliness of hostels and privacy which is being provided
i also like the classrooms and labs which are very sophisticated and pretty decent the labs are all new built which has good equipment
I like the coding culture of my college which ensures every one to learn good coding skills and persure job in it sectors

Dislikes

I dont likesome of the faculty who just keep coming for the name sake and doesnt teach anything

Placement Experience:

Placements are superb in our college from 6th semester students will be eligible for placements around 300 companies visit our college and last year the highest domestic package offered was 65 lakhs per annum and its keeps on increasing average package is 26 lakhs 92 percent of students get placed.

Experience at IIT Indore

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course in civil engineering because it's a very old course and opportunities like government jobs, civil services, IES, or even in non-tech like software engineering is also an option if you want to go hand in hand with the core curriculum. Also, the professors are knowledgeable and provide great efforts in teaching.

I liked the hostel facilities, Faculty and clubs and fest
Many club organise various events which help in overall development
Besides we have a good coding culture make it competitive here

Dislikes

Lack of small food shops and hostel in the campus
Distance between Lecture Hall and hostel and mess

Placement Experience:

I am in CSE so we have an average package in cse of around 32.5 LPA, highest in more than 80 LPA. Students begin to appear for intern here mostly from 3rd year beginning also rate of getting a PPO is quite good here
