AKS university satna

Likes

My experience in AK University has been very good, all the faculty here are helpful, there is no ragging here at all.
There are many events happening in Aks University which we participate in along with studies.
Mining course is not available in all universities, aksUniversity has very good ones.

Dislikes

I come from general category, no story was included in my fees.
Toilets are in bad condition here, cleanliness is not done well.
Solage canteen is in bad condition, there is no good way to eat.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Most of the students who do mining course come from mining background, but my family does not have mining background so I thought of taking mining because I can easily get a job in mining.The cut off of GATE in Mining is very low, hence clearing the GATE exam is a little easier as compared to other courses.

Likes

Classes are held on a regular basis every subject has enough classes as er the credits given.
University has very karge agricultural field.
Faculty is helpful to students. They also support us in studies.

Dislikes

Canteen's cleanliness is not good. Lacks infrastructure.
Department has only one projector which is problematic to manage when many classes need to use it at a time.
Smart classes must be increased and facilities must be given.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course has a wide scope in present and in future as well. The curriculum has about 100 credits which make it easy to get admission in any university for masters course. The teaching method is that old traditional classroom type I think they should move towards smart classes.

Most of things we like sincerity of students and infrastructures and buildings and lab and classes are very well
Availability of library is a very good option for learning students
Students are live in a discipline and promotion to study and other things is very good

Dislikes

Sometime lack of things in any particular lab is not available to students so they are not able to learn more things
Lack of some practical equipments stands to unable to learn
Canteen not in a proper way and also it is not hygienic and their infrastructure is not welling good

Placement Experience:

There are every year lot of students from my department food technology which is under department of faculty of agriculture science and technology last year 5 lakh package is taken by students kitne percentage hota lagbhag placement ultimately 95% students are getting placements every year same is my plan for getting placement in industry

Good University in central India

Likes

Classes are held on time on a regular basis.
Faculty is helpful and supportive. They also help us in our personal problems.
Computer labs are available and students can use them anytime.

Dislikes

There is a lack of smart classes ther should be more.
The lab still lacks many facilities and equipments.
Greenery is good but doesn't feels enough.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course has large scope in the patient and in future also and that was my reason for opting for this course. The curriculum has all the required subjects and that's are also enough credits for us to opt get admission in any university for masters degree.

One of the best University in central India

Likes

Regular classes are held according to the credit system.
Ragging is not a problem here as I didn't face any.
Faculties are helpfull and supportive to us.

Dislikes

There is a lack of smart classes and only some classes have this facility.
Sports facilities are available but coaches are not.
Our department has been given only one projector.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Last year in 2023 jubilant foodworks has visited the campus. Per seniors are working in many renowned companies such as Dawat, Jubilant foodworks, Parag, etc.

Likes

Classes are held properly according to the credit system.
The faculty is very helpful and supportive.
Various fests are held in a calender year which make sthe campus life fun.

Dislikes

The timing of the University is such that I can't take any part-time jobs during daytime.
There is a lack of smart classes.Only some classes have projector.
NCC classes timing overlaps with course classes.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Name of the Companies that recently visited our university is jubilant foodworks. highest package offered is 10lakhs and average package is 3-4 lakhs per annum.

All over experience about my University

Likes

Campus of University is clean.buildings and classroom in University is cleaned
Infrastructure of University is very big .
Faculty members in University is very helpful

Dislikes

Buildings of University is spread in large distance
So reach one building to another building is time taking
Trees in University is very small so sun lite create problems in summer season

Placement Experience:

Placement provided in University for last semester students.many companies ce in University for placement.highest pakage is 6-7 lakh and average pakage is 3-4 lakh in University placement.placement percentage in University is 80-90 percentage.my plan is after getting degree is getting job and qualify gate exam and take admission in M.Tech in NIFTEM.

Expensive - Decent faculty - good infrastructure

more focused towards the cultural events .
considering the location the faculties are decent.
the infrastructure , classrooms and internal environment of the campus is good.

Dislikes

there is no dedicated criteria for the admission .
due to this the competetive environment is weak.
more focused on the events & marketing rather than academics.

talking about the eligibility for the placements so it was like one is eligible for the placements once he/she cmpleted the 6th semester, talking about my experience so I've made it to two companies in the 7th semester itself .

Reel vs Real Life at AKS

Books present at the Library were best thing i got at the campus.

Dislikes

Most of the things were very conventional, no friendly authority,l.
No placement assistantance, no research facility.

Placement Experience:

After 7th semester, candidates become eligible for the placements. Some of the companies which visited this year were BWR, Jindal, Hike Education, Lucas motorworks etc, but they provided very less package. Highest offer was of 3 lacs only. Mostly, all of the students got placed due to mass recruiting, about 80 percent. I'm planning to do masters.

Reality behind the most advertised AKS University

Parking spaces, building infrastructure, library

Dislikes

Every thing from the teaching methods to the money hungry administration

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit in campus placements from 7tg semester and the average placement package for mechanical engineering is 2-3lcs per annum, mostly the companies which require mindless labours and with low expectations are usually visit the campus, very low percentage of students are placed in well reputed companies i.e. around 0.2-0.3 percentage, I plan to open a Mechanical Work shop after getting the degree and persue MBA from a better college
