Thee fee structure is split into Tution fee, Hostel fee, Caution deposit. I didint recived any fee relaxations or scholarships, but there are different schemes. There are E Grantz scholarship for reservation categories and you will get stipend if you have a valid GATE score.

I appreciate the climate of the college and course curriculums of M.Tech.

year wise fees i paid is nearly 1.5 to 2 lakhs. Tuition fees is 1.4lakhs, caution fees is 20000, registration fees is 3000, admission fees is 3000, development fees is 10000, lab fees is 3000. Our batchmates who is SC caste won't pay tuition fee.

Nit Calicut good atmosphere

Since I came through the gate exam we got a stipend of 12,400 per month for 2 years. And can manage to pay semester fees with this stipend. Now the fees may have increased but the same stipend is given as of now.

The fee structure of the college is around 40-55k per semester and there will be two semesters in a year there is some scholarship run by govt of India for weaker sections of society . yes, I have gate qualified so I am getting a stipend of 12500/month.

Insider of NIT Calicut (pros and cons)

Some courses are there which have very less future opportunities.
Course fees is really high.

Here in Nit Calicut, MTech fees structure is comparatively higher than in other Nits. At the time of admission, students need to pay 1.2 lakhs. This is for one semester. And in the second-semester payable amount is nearly 80000 rs. so to sum up total course fees are about 3.6 lakhs. Here the hostel fee is about 9000 Rs for sharing a room and 10000 rs for a single room. The mess bill is around 34 thousand. This is flooding expenses. Academic fees are about 37 thousand rs. Apart from a stipend, a scholarship is also there. But if you apply for a scholarship then your stipend will be cut-off. Carrying study expenses is not that hard but students can get loans easily. Here campus placement is very good. Btech placement is very good. Mtech placement is above 50% in our department. The internship is also provided by the college through the gen skill portal. Here also job conversion rate is above 80%. After 1st sem internship offers to start coming.

NIT Calicut Review

The college average program fee is around 1.70 lakh which is very affordable in comparison to the top-notch engineering college of India. The fee is pretty affordable and the packages of the colleges are very good around 10 LPA is the average package that we get from the college. The scholarship on a merit basis is available.

Fees of NIT Calicut is very affordable and since MTech and PhD students get stipend, so there is no need of any more financial assistance and scholarship. Although, there are many scholarship available from ministry of education for the students of BTech.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course for sufficient and teachers were quite professional and qualified. 3 test terms and 1 major exams per subject in one semester. Exams were average and were from course discussed in the classroom.

Everywhere fees for M.Tech. is huge compared to other courses, but you get HTRA (stipend) of 12,400/- every month, so you would be financially self sustaining. And from the first year onwards you can apply for a job or internship. Companies like 'Goldmann Sachs', 'General Electric' etc offer very attractive packages.

What is the BTech Engineering Physics fees for the total program, divided in semesters?

The tuition fee per semester is INR 125000 for the Btech courses at the NIT Calicut. The total year-wise fee is INR 2.78 Lakhs. Candidate must have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized board with Physics & Mathematics as main subjects along with either. Candidates must qualify for one of the following entrance tests - JEE Main/ JEE Advance.
