Yeah it's very good for class room is great and lab is workable we have onam programs and xmas, arts day, sports day, youth festival, freshers day its good there is two clubs nss and nature club and good friends
The attitude of the teachers were very rude but their way of teaching is very nice and we can easily score good marks in the exams.
The college have job placements in channels like asianet, and have some institutes like brilliant, also the channel karikku.we have internships at newschannels and other institutes and may get permanent jobs if they like our work.

Dislikes

Facilities are very bad theory is no very good infrastructure facilities provided
The distance from hostel to department is too large and its so difficult to walk
It's a very poor system that's made to waste the time of students as they cram everything from practicals and theory, leaving no space for real life applications .

St Xavier's college for women Aluva

Likes

Spacious classrooms,seminar halls, auditorium
Good good in canteen, friendly faculty members
Basket ball court , spacious and calm library,good in academic and indoor and outdoor programms

Dislikes

Strict behaviour of principal in some things

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teachers teaches very nicely and chapter wise analysis will be done. Quiz programme internet test will occur Viva also be done. We have exam on the interval of 6 months And result will come in the site..

Life in my college

Likes

As for the faculty, the members and assistant professors are very friendly and encourage us for evey up and downs . We feel better and free when we talk to them.
The lab facilities is very so-so. There are many equipments in lab that we don't even know or that is not workable. Only few microscopes are good .
One thing I personally like is programs like arts day, onam celebration, christmas celebration are celebrated very festivaley and grand.

Dislikes

The quality of infrastructure is very bad. when there is a rain , there will be water inside the building. The cleaning staff are always mopping around because of this. The college is situated far away from bus stop and we have to walk kms everyday
Campus life is very boring, morelike there is no campus , no sitting place . Only green grass with scorching hot.
Canteen is so bad and doesn't have any things to eat . They don't provide good food .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Professor always says that we have small syllabus and we need to study out of syllabus for our knowledge.the frequency and timing of exam are always correct. But in accordance of practical exams , there are times that internal exams and practical comes together is kind of difficult to study.

Up’s and Down’s of St.Teresa’s College

Likes

It is a women’s college hence there is no girls to boys ratio .
It gives us many opportunities to showcase our talent

Dislikes

Campus is not developed, very little to no campus ground
Although it follows english medium of education, they teach in their local language

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.Sc Nutrition and Dietetics curriculum at St.Teresa's College is comprehensive, focusing on practical applications and advanced topics . However more hands on experience and updated teaching methods could enhance learning. Exam frequency is reasonable, but some could be more challenging.

The college environment was good,but now need to improve.
I'm always engaged in my campus life and quality of social interactions is good.

My old school teachers influence me to choose this course.In my perspective frequency of exam should be limited and the timing of exams should be give more. In mathematics course improve give some theoretical methods to technical.

A collage with a history of two hundred years is sure to have building and intellectual assets which have witnessed historic events and experiences for both men and women who have played a great role in the history of this land .
Collage has a great facilities mainly for science departments which includes laboratories , department libraries which is a repository of several rare and very old books which are referance materials for research scholars.
Provides the best environment for students , especially for research scholars.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Executes academic activities that ensures qualitative change in education. A a chemistry student I can say that my collage have all the facilities including more laboratories and a natural friendly campus which is essential for all Bsc students. This collage offers curricular and co- curricular programmes to keep abreast with advances in science, technology and development.

Campus life in SSV, Irapuram

Likes

The faculty is generally friendly and supportive towards the students.
There are good computer labs available in the college.
Clubs like NSS are active in the college and helps for the betterment of the students.

Dislikes

There is room for improvement in the canteen facilities.
Campus placement is not up to the mark and can be improved.
Opportunities in the sports area can be improved.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I was interested in programming and the course helped me to develop and improve my coding skills.There can be improvements in the course curriculum as it is mostly theory. It would have been better if there was more practical sessions. Timing of exams are good and pass marks can be scored quite easily.

Affordable yet good college

One thing that i really liked about my college was the teacher student connection. I have never experienced a friendly connection with teachers until college.
The quality of infrastructure was also good.I really got a good atmosphere for learning.
Principal was kindhearted man. He is really considerate about students opinions.

Dislikes

There is not much of entertainment compared to other colleges. Less events. There is onam celebration, Christmas celebration, and department wise programs.. like if its mental health day then psychology department will conduct some program.Only that.
There isnt a better specific space for programs they just build a roof and they conduct the programs there which looks cheap.
College bus was too expensive.. also they are too strict about fees.. they don't understand our struggles for making money,they are rude if we don't pay in jst few days even if its not much of a big deal

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of my course wasn't complicated. You can just learn at your own pace. While doing 3rd year according to syllabus you will get to do research related to what you are studying which is really helpful to get a basic knowledge about research fields. Also if you have stage fear you will def overcome that by the end of college because they will give you chances to perform in front of everyone in classes which will ofcourse be useful in further career. The timings for exams was 3hrs for external examination. Which is accurate. You will have 2 internals before eternal. First one is a small one which only last for 1 hour. Also accurate. 2 internal is same as external. Same timing and difficulty. I wish they also suggest to do internships as part of syllabus because that can help us a lot in our career.

Active participation: Students were encouraged to contribute to decision-making processes, promoting a sense of ownership.
Focused on accademics..students have a good result. It is one of the best syllabus.

Dislikes

Insufficient laboratory equipment. So we will mot get much practical experince.
Reduced practical skills development. So decreased confidence among srudents.
There are limted international or national programmes and competitions.

Our syllabus is really vast. It cover more portions than central univeristies. So it help us for other competitive exams But sometimes it is difficult fot backbencher to.cover all the portions But however a good syllabus

Some limitations are introduced now.That sucks
We would leave the college campus by 5:30pm.
