Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum of my course wasn't complicated. You can just learn at your own pace. While doing 3rd year according to syllabus you will get to do research related to what you are studying which is really helpful to get a basic knowledge about research fields. Also if you have stage fear you will def overcome that by the end of college because they will give you chances to perform in front of everyone in classes which will ofcourse be useful in further career. The timings for exams was 3hrs for external examination. Which is accurate. You will have 2 internals before eternal. First one is a small one which only last for 1 hour. Also accurate. 2 internal is same as external. Same timing and difficulty. I wish they also suggest to do internships as part of syllabus because that can help us a lot in our career.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 22,500rs per year for 3 years Caution fees 5000rs and registration fees was 1000rs If you get admission through merit based them you dont have to pay extra money or anything just Caution deposit and registration fees and first semester course fees at first which is 11,250rs But if you take admission in management quota then you have to pay 25000rs extra otherthan the course fees, total fees for course completion is almost 70k. (If its merit based).

Campus Life

3.5

The programs are conducted by students itself. The college union selected by each year. They collect fund from students and plan for an event and take permission from management after presenting it to them. There will be some events that happens annually eg: science exhibition, arts day, etc.talking about Library you will have to buy a library card for 20rs and take books whichever you want to read.. there were a lot of academic related books too.. which is truly useful. They also encourages sports and other extracurricular activities. There is sports day and little competition like poster making , quizzes etc.

Admission

The admission was through allotment process. I applied to 3 colleges other than this college.i got merit admission. But the other colleges had a higher cutoff so i couldn't get into any of it.. as i didn't had a higher score in plus 2. If you have 70% or above you have chance of getting into this college. But this isnt accurate because it can change from year to year. As the competition increases.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty members are highly qualified and you can approach them if you have a doubt. They were really supportive.. They helped me a lot with my seminar and projects.. there were four teachers in our psychology department.. no. Of teachers varies from dept. To dept some departments had upto 10 teachers. Mahatma Gandhi University uses a direct grading system with letter grades A+, A, B, C, D, and E, and a weightage of 1:3 for internal and external evaluation: Internal evaluation This is based on a predetermined system that includes assignments, seminars, lab skills, and more. External evaluation This is based on an end-of-semester exam conducted by the university. Final grade The internal and external grades are combined to determine the final grade for each course. Minimum passing grade A minimum of a C grade is required for both the internal and external evaluations for each course. Final grade card The final grade card shows the student's CGPA and overall letter grade for the pro

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course not because of curriculum. The syllabus is very bad and it doesn't really help to apply in real-world situations.I suggest that the practical exposure must be needed and give chances for students to apply in internships. The timing of exam actually stressed alot in even semesters due to shortage in classes. The faculty rushes to take class and also gives a load of work when the exam is near.

In our collage gurls get placed in first year itself as the act of SYNERGY girls recruitment. For boys as well. Many good companies enroll in this collage.
