IIST B.Tech + M.Tech Optical Engineering: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Admission to the college is determined by JEE ADVANCED cutoff marks, followed by a separate rank list for counseling in the three available courses at IIST. The faculty is highly qualified and supportive, assisting students with effective solutions. The college has a competitive fee structure. General category students with a GPA of 7.5 or higher, and SC/ST/PWD students with a GPA of 6.5 or higher, receive free services, including hostel, course, and mess fees.

Those not meeting these GPA criteria pay 50,000 INR per semester. Students with a CGPA of 7.5 and above often secure direct placement in ISRO. For others, the college's placement cell helps facilitate jobs in various companies. Additionally, scholarships are available for students meeting the GPA requirements, covering all services at no cost.
