Manas Agarwal, an MBBS student here, reports that there are no KLE University Belgaum Placements for students. a compulsory internship to be done from this hospital only You have to do a mandatory internship in the hospital and the stipend you get is INR 15000. - 'Earn While You Learn': The 'Earn While You Learn' scheme provides the poor and needy students with monthly remuneration between Rs.3,000/- to Rs.7,500/- depending upon the nature of assignments to the students. The students are required to work three hours per day. To become eligible, the yearly income of the parents should not exceed Rs.2.50 lakhs.
- Research Scholarship: Available for Original research by Undergraduates & Post graduates. Every student is eligible only once a year for a research scholarship. For Postgraduates the research projects should be other than dissertation. For Undergraduates the research scholarship will be up to Rs.10,000/-. For Post graduates the research scholarship will be up to Rs.25,000/-.
- Extracurricular (Cultural/Sports) Scholarship: The student will be selected from the participants in the national level events by the Director of Students Welfare, KAHER. Students who have excelled in extracurricular(cultural/sports) activity by award of 1st/2nd/3rd prize at National level will be considered for scholarship. For group events, the entire team will be considered for the award.
