KLEU AIET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

You must check the KLEU AIET eligibility criteria carefully before applying. KAHER verifies eligibility at the time of document verification during counselling. Candidates who do not meet the eligibility conditions are rejected even after qualifying the exam and being allotted a seat.

Age Criteria

You must have attained 17 years of age by December 31, 2026. There is no upper age limit for most allied health science programs offered through KLEU AIET.

Educational Qualification

• You must have passed Class 12 (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognised board such as CBSE, ICSE, or any state board.
• The mandatory subjects are Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Biology must be a core subject and not an additional or optional subject.
• You must have scored at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together in Class 12.
• For reserved category candidates (SC, ST, OBC), the minimum aggregate marks in PCB is 40%.
• Students who are currently appearing in Class 12 board exams are also eligible to apply, provided they meet the minimum marks requirement when board results are declared.

Program-Specific Conditions

• BAMS (Ayurveda): Biology or Biotechnology must be one of the subjects in Class 12.
• B.Sc Nursing: Open to female candidates only.
• Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: You must hold a General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) diploma from a recognised institution in addition to the standard Class 12 requirement.
• BPT and B.Pharm: Standard PCB eligibility with no additional gender restriction.

How to Apply for KLEU AIET — Step by Step

• Step 1 — New Registration: Visit kledeemeduniversity.edu.in and click on the AIET registration link. Enter your name, email ID, and mobile number to create a new account. You will receive login credentials on your registered contact details.
• Step 2 — Fill Application Form: Log in and fill in all personal and academic details. Select the programs and campuses you want to apply for in order of preference.
• Step 3 — Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of your recent passport-size photograph, signature, Class 10 mark sheet, and Class 12 mark sheet or admit card in the format and size specified in the instructions.
• Step 4 — Pay the Application Fee: Pay the non-refundable application fee of Rs 1,500 online via debit card, credit card, or net banking. No offline payment is accepted.
• Step 5 — Submit and Save Confirmation: Review all details before final submission. After submitting, download and print the confirmation page with your application number for future reference.

KLEU AIET 2026 Exam Pattern

KLEU AIET 2026 was conducted in online proctored mode on May 10, 2026. Candidates appeared from their home computers monitored through proctoring software. The exam has 200 multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology, with a total duration of 3 hours. Each correct answer carries 1 mark and there is no negative marking for wrong or unattempted questions.

The exam is similar in structure to NEET but with a comparatively lower difficulty level. The absence of negative marking is a significant advantage — you should attempt all 200 questions since skipping any question is not beneficial when there is no penalty for wrong answers.

KLEU AIET 2026 Subject-Wise Question Distribution

Biology carries half the total marks in KLEU AIET, split equally between Botany and Zoology. This makes Biology the single most important section and the best opportunity to build your score in the exam.

Since KLEU AIET has no negative marking, always attempt every single question. A random guess still gives you a 25% chance of earning a mark — leaving any question blank guarantees zero for that question.

The KLEU AIET syllabus covers the Class 11 and Class 12 curriculum in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology) as prescribed by the NCERT. It is closely aligned with the NEET syllabus. KLEU AIET 2026 Admit Card

The KLEU AIET 2026 admit card was released in May 2026 before the exam on May 10, 2026. Candidates downloaded their admit cards from kledeemeduniversity.edu.in by entering their registration number and date of birth. The admit card served as the entry document for the online proctored session.

Since the KLEU AIET 2026 exam is over, the admit card is no longer needed for the test. However, you must carry a printed copy of your KLEU AIET 2026 rank card (issued after result declaration) at the time of counselling and document verification at the KAHER campus — it serves as proof of qualification for the seat allotment process.

Subject-Wise Strategy

• Biology (Botany and Zoology) — Your Highest-Scoring Section: Biology contributes 100 out of 200 marks in KLEU AIET. Read the NCERT Biology textbooks for Class 11 and 12 thoroughly — every definition, diagram, and table. Life cycles, classification hierarchies, genetics problems, and ecological concepts are frequently tested. Complete at least two full rounds of NCERT revision before the exam. Biology is also the section where you can gain the most marks in the least time if NCERT is done correctly.
• Chemistry — Concepts and Reactions: Organic Chemistry, p-Block elements, and Electrochemistry are high-scoring areas in KLEU AIET. Learn all NCERT reaction mechanisms, name reactions, and formulae. General Study and Exam Tips

• Complete the NCERT textbooks for Class 11 and 12 in all three subjects before moving to any additional reference material. NCERT is the single most important resource for KLEU AIET.
• Solve 3 to 5 previous-year KLEU AIET question papers and at least 10 NEET practice papers to understand the pattern and identify your weak areas.
• Take one full-length timed mock test every week from November onwards. Analyse your mistakes after each test and allocate revision time to weak chapters based on the analysis.
