Very unique course. The scope for it is huge as there are many undiscovered and yet to be researched areas. Recently the PMMSY scheme has given lot of scope and importance to fisheries sector. But the faculty here are very boring.

In order to seek admission in my course you need to clear Common Entrance Test as conducted by KEA. The age limit of the candidate should not exceed beyond 17 years. There is also a 5% relaxation given to SC/ST candidate.Other than that you need to secure 50% marks in PCB in class 12th from a recognized board.English is also a compulsory subject.You can apply online for this course. Luckily my name appeared in the second merit list of the college . Later on I was called for documentation process and granted admission in the college.

The university is highly equipped with present-day learning techniques. We have canteen served with good quality food, sports room for indoor games and a field for outdoor games. The university has proper 24*7 open dispensary within the campus.

The institute offers M.F.Sc course at the PG level. Admission to this course is based on students?performance in the relevant bachelor? degree and written test.For admission in any of the affiliated colleges under Karnataka Veterinary Animal and Fisheries Sciences University, an applicant needs to apply online through the university website based on minimum eligibility criteria

I filled in the admission application form of the University. Post that I appeared for the entrance test conducted by the University. After qualifying entrance exam I was granted the admission in the course. I wanted to pursue my bachelors in the domain of fisheries and since it was a popular government University offering this course I opted for it.
