IIM Bangalore Admissions 2026 are completely based on the entrance examinations. IIM Bangalore MBA Admission is based on a valid score in the CAT exam, followed by a PI and Written Ability Test round. Candidates need to follow these steps to get admission at IIM Bangalore-
- They need to fill up the application form and appear for the CAT exam.

- Stage 1: The PGP admission process at IIM Bangalore starts with the submission of the online application form. First shortlist is prepared consisting of candidates who have secured a minimum score on all the sections of CAT 2025. Candidates who obtained a minimum score that is positive in all sections of CAT 2025 will be considered.
- Candidates in the first shortlist, a pre-PI score is created. The weightage for different components at the pre-PI stage are as follows :

- Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) = 21 points

At IIM Bangalore, there is no separate entrance exam conducted by the college itself. Admission to its flagship PGP (MBA) programme is based primarily on CAT scores.
