How are the placements at IIM Bangalore?

The placements at IIMB are among the top in country. Companies across various domains like Consulting, Investment Banking, IT, Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing take part in the campus placements. Placements take place 2 times one - summer internships for 1st years and the final placement for 2nd year students. IIMB has a stellar placement profile with 100% students getting placed in a record 3 days period with an average package of INR 30 lakhs+. My plan after getting MBA degree is get placed in a good company where I can utilize the skills learned here on real life problems.

The consulting sector was the top recruiting sector, making up 42% of the total offers for the PGP course. The number of offers was slightly lower than the previous year, but IIM Bangalore still maintained a high placement percentage.

IIM B has a record of 100 per cent placements both during summer internship placements and final placements. Other than these two there are also lateral placements. Summer internship placements happen in the second semester, and laterals and finals happen in the sixth semester.

IIM Bangalore provides placement assistance to all students. In 2022, during the final placement season, more than 180 companies of high repute visited the campus and offered more than 660 full-time roles to the PGP batch.
