Scholarships offered by IIM Bangalore

IIMB PGP Alumni First Batch (1976) Scholarship

This scholarship is given to a differently-abled woman student from PGP at IIM Bangalore. The scholarship is set with an objective to support a differently-abled female student (or a differently-abled male student, if there is no eligible female student).

the year wise fees I pay is 1,25,000 for 1st year and for the second year we will be pay 1,50,000 and at the third year we will pay 1,75,000 for 3rd year and in total of all three years we will pay total of 4,50,000 rupees in all 3 years and it is just tuition fee and the registration fee for the exam that we have to give to get into this college is 3,000 rupees in which we have to give an entrance exam and on the basis of that we will be doing that and the fees structure is quite good it's not that expensive but for some people it will be difficult and we also have reservations for SC ST students it is 50% of the what other students pay 2,75,000 and there is also scholarship that they gave that I think it's percent 20% to 25% what they give for the students who can not afford the fees and it is need based and the scholarship and financial aid are also provided and the information regarding that are also provided for everyone so that they can access the course and some people are financially rich to pay all the fees for the course, so they have scholarships and also some financial aid from the professors and other faculty and they also provide internship opportunities and there are so many other things like there are so many startup that they can offer for our course so that we also get part time work so we can pay our fees from that

If you are a general category student then it will be difficult to get a call back from IIM B. It is difficult to say anything specifically since you have not mentioned your category and whether you have any work experience or not.

It’s good that you have scholarships. However, it does not add anything to your profile. Scholarships don’t feature as eligibility criteria for getting a call from IIM B.

It only takes into account academic credentials, work experience, CAT score, Gender diversity, and category.

Yes, IIM Bangalore offers students a loan of up to INR 30 lakh.

Eligibility: Students must have at least 2 years of work experience. Students must have a PAN number and provide a self-attested copy of their PAN card to the bank.
Selection of Institution: Students must have a confirmed admission or final selection to an Executive MBA programme at a reputable school in India or overseas.
Submission of Application: Submit your loan application together with the necessary documentation to the bank. Documents that must be included are PAN cards, admission letter to IIM Bangalore, an employer's NOC (if applicable), and any other documents needed by the bank.
Processing and Disbursement of Loan: Once the application has been processed and authorised, the loan will be released directly to the institution or suppliers for books, equipment, and other items as needed and demanded.
Life Insurance: Obtain a life insurance policy for at least the loan amount that will cover the whole loan term. The borrower is responsible for paying the insurance policy premium on a regular basis.

For PGPM the total fee is INR 24.5 Lakhs, For PGPBA the total fee is INR 24.5 Lakhs, For EPGP the total fee is INR 33.96 Lakhs, For PGP the total fee is INR 12 Lakhs. Hostel (dorm) room rent and service charge/term: INR 20000, Students’ mess per month (Veg food): INR 30000, Students staying off-campus but who wish to eat food at the student Hostel mess are required to deposit the amount at hostel office at the beginning of the program: INR 30000. Students opting to stay on campus are expected to strictly abide by the hostel rules of IIMB. If students fail to abide by the hostel rules, they will be penalized according to PGP rules. IIMB does not collect any other student fees such as tuition, library/computer/course material, apart from the above expenses. Any expenses incurred on student activities such as printing and photocopy will be borne by the student. All dues have to be cleared before students leave the campus. Students will have to pay a fine if they damage or do not return the books taken from the library.
