An inside overview of Central University of Jammu

Likes

Faculty is talented helpful and could be easily accessed.
The project and internships provided by the university along with the university and outside in other institutes
The regular classes and regular sessions with the faculty so that we can share the responses of our learning.

Dislikes

Transportation is quite a hassle and there is very less accessibility of transport nearby the institute
The university is still under construction

Admission:

The college chose me well i gave the exam and it was the first one to select also it was in my nearby place so it became a good choice and the faculty proved the decision right unlike other universities the faculties cannot be approached that easily but here are mentors provied to make it easy also the fee was affordable.

Likes

Firstally i like in my college is hostel it is located in college campus .
The second thing like in my college is campus area located in between mountain.
the last thing is about one teacher he help me in everything.

Dislikes

The first thing i do not like is transport in my college it is the major problem in my college.
The second thing is there are no proper lectures everyday one of them faculty is absent
The last thing is not a proper medical facielities

Admission:

When i deciding on my college , i applied to several reputed institution including IIITs, GFTIs and few privates universities. However, I chose my current college because it focus on cyber security, modern facilities,and a curriculum designed with industry collaboration.

Central University of Jammu - The Place to Be

Likes

The university has a bustling environment for academia. It is located in a quiet and serene rural area, allowing for a nice environment for studying.
There is a proactive focus on the publications made by students.
The campus is in close proximity to many famous hill stations, making them nice weekend retreats.

Dislikes

Lack of infrastructure is one of the biggest problems.
The faculty members are highly experienced but lack empathy.
There is no campus life as the campus itself is developing.

I had applied to Central University of Himachal Pradesh. However, Central University of Jammu has better infrastructure and better opportunities to grow academically. Thus, this is a better alternative.

Likes

Infrastructure and landscape of that area is very well developed
scenery and weather of the location is well liked by all
faculty of the university is very friendly and guiding, and also very understanding.

Dislikes

transportation facilities of the university is very poor and is very frustrating very times
the security is very picky as they sometimes get annoyed if we didn't wear id card even they know us that we study in this university
air conditioning do not work even the central ac infrastructure is provided as it a central university and very less water coolers are available and the auditorium is very small

Admission:

the main reason is that this university is the first university that replied to my application for admission and also it is in the state in which I was residing at that time, which makes it more favorable for me to assess and reach. I got the confirmed admission form from the Central University of Punjab much later than this university. I did not get rejected from any university to which I applied as I applied to only 2 universities. Eligibility is to get the expected cutoff marks in the CUET exam by NTA & the procedure is to submit the required documents after the release of the list. overall experience is very good and normal.

The faculty that treaches us is very knowledgeable
The infrastructure of the our department is very good
The university is surrounded by the mountains and its beautiful

The university is still under construction with causes very disturbance
The university is located at the remote location
The university hostels are also not in the capmus

I have applied to other college also but as compared to this college I got my intrested domain that is cybersecurity and the other I opted ilwas offering the basic computer science and this college stand out in my list and I opt it

Likes

Beautiful college with bus facility andthe teacher are very helpful they give you exam note and grace marks so we can easily pass in exam .all classmates are good ,senior are very helpful,we get all the books from library for gate preparation

Dislikes

The college is so big and we have to walk 3km to study .the branches in this college is very less only 3 branches are available and no mechanical , electrical engineering is available and the ratio of girls and boy is less compared to others college

Admission:

I want to study in nit but at last I didn't get that rank so I did csab counseling and this is the only college I get which have cse so I prefer branch and it is government college and fee is also pretty fair so I choose this college
