IIT Mandi BTech : Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

In the first year at IIT Mandi, all students take the same classes, with some specific subjects introduced in the second semester. The faculty and teaching assistants are highly qualified and approachable, fostering an open environment for students to ask questions. The institute offers excellent placement opportunities, with an average package of 24 LPA across all branches. Computer science and data science students often receive higher packages, averaging over 30 LPA, while civil engineering packages range from 18 to 20 LPA.

As an IIT, the college attracts many companies for placements and internships, and many students receive pre-placement offers (PPOs). The fee structure is determined by the Government of India, and scholarships are available to students who meet certain criteria.
