Eligibility Criteria
The Candidates should have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) or an equivalent Examination in subjects taken including compulsory subjects of Physics, Chemistry and one subject of Biotechnology/ Biology/ Mathematics/Computer Science & English with 60% marks in aggregate (40% marks in case of SC/ ST Category).

MAHARISHI MARKANDESHWAR (DEEMED TO BE UNIVERSITY), MULLANA-AMBALA, HARYANA ACADEMIC FEE STRUCTURE FOR INDIAN STUDENTS : 2024-25
Terms and Conditions
1. Annual Academic fee shall be payable into two installments for all courses except Medical, Dental and courses offered on annual pattern. First installment of fee shall be charged at the time of counselling. Subsequent installments shall be payable from 16th October to 31st October and 1st April to 15th April every year failing which a fine of Rs 100 per day shall be charge for 15 days. If a student fails to pay the fee within the prescribed limit with fine, his / her name shall be struck off from the rolls of the MM(DU). However, Competent Authority may allow re-admission if satisfied with the explanation for not depositing the fee and in such case a Re-admission fee of Rs 2000/- shall be levied.
2. Tuition fee increases @ 7% per annum.
3. Hostel and Transport charges shall be extra as per MM(DU) norms notified from time to time.
4. If a student leaves the course mid-stream, he / she will be required to pay fee for the balance duration of the course as per Supreme Court Judgement in Islamic Academy of Education case.
5. In BHMCT, M.Sc. Dietetics and B.Sc. Hospitality and Catering Management Rs 12000/- per annum are charged for Operations / Training / Laboratory etc. (Included in the above mentioned fee structure)
6. Student will have to pay fees for the extended duration of the program.
7. If a student is detained in any subject for shortage of attendance as per MM(DU) norms she/he shall be required to attend classes again for which fee shall be charged as per MM(DU) norms.

- I like the infrastructure of the campus of the university.
- It provide free and affordable treatment to students in its own medical department.
Dislikes
- The attendance criteria, which is 90 percent.
- Can't utilise the time to develop soft skill, due to assignments, practical,90 attendance and so on.
Fees and Financial Aid:
When I took admission the fee was almost Rs156000 for the first year. Registration fee for the admission was Rs1200. In the case of backlog in any semester the fee is Rs 2000 to reappear in the exam. Civil: Rs 525000 Electrical: Rs 560000 The fee is increasing year by year, currently the whole fee for Computer science and Engineering is Rs 68000

- College provide good facilities for the students. There is vehicle facilities inside the campus.
- A lot of events group is in the college. They organize events on regularly basis. It helps in to boost our confidence level

Fee Structure Breakdown The total fees I paid for my course were broken down into several categories, and it’s essential to understand each: Tuition Fees: The tuition fee per year was ?156000(including the exam fees, lab fees, and other charges ), which covered the academic costs. Registeration fees: Rs 1200. Hostel fees: Rs 86000 per annum. Scholarship: NSP and scholarship provided by State Governments.

- Staff is good are well qualified and having a wide range of knowledge

- Fees is so much costly normal student cannot afford it
- There are so much additional charges they take from students
Fees and Financial Aid:
So my annual fees of my course is 1,80,000 per year which is to costly and now if I am tslking lab fees, registration fees and other additional charges that are around 45,000 per year. So it is to costly for any students

- Infrastructure is good , college is out of city that makes pollution free.
- Hostel is good , max 2 person allowed in one room , that is good.
Dislikes
- I would say their rules and regulations are like schools , unwanted restrictions.
- Quality of education is is average. There attendance system is worst because they used to charge complete semester fees if your attendance is not upto 75%. Even for 74.5 is not countable for them.
Fees and Financial Aid:
So, when you join this college first you need to fill a form for 1500 rupees provided by the college. Then you can directly take admission in any choice of your field. So first-year fees for academics will be 40k per semester for non-cse background and for cse students it will be around 55k per semester. For a hostel you have to pay around 65k to 70k for non AC hostel & for an AC hostel you have to pay around 70k to 80k per year.

- Infrastructure and labs are really good here.
- Wifi connectivity in the campus is really helpful.
Dislikes
- Mess food is really disgusting here and hygiene is not maintained at all.
- Hostel buildings are too old and not much clean.
Fees and Financial Aid:
I pay 156000 yearly which consists of 86250 as academic fees and 70000 for hostel and mess fees. I am availing the benefit of the Bihar student credit card scheme(BSCC) in which I am getting 100000 yearly as a loan which will be repaid when I will get a job and due to this scheme my fees are less than those other students who around 192000 yearly.

- Good hostel facility with good infrastructure. College are providing best transportation facilities who are coming through bus
- Faculty members are very helpful they are always ready to help in each and every metters.
Dislikes
- College Management is too bad .class schedule is not proper for them who are staying in hostel.
- There is no accurate plan for holiday or we can say there is no exact pre plan for holiday they are annocing immediately.
Fees and Financial Aid:
If I talk about B.tech(C.S.E) the fee structure is 4.5 lack tuition fees and 3.7lack hostel fee. When I speak about scholarships, if you achieved 70% above in your 12th, you can claim a 25% relaxation in your tuition fee.if above then 90% in 12th then tuition fee is free

- the CSED provides help to early age startups in the college

- The bus facility is not good according to me

The college has recently increased its fee structure for the upcoming batchs.But it does not affect the current batch fee structure.The course fee if about 6 lakh for 4 years of btech after including hostel and mess fee it goes upto 9.6 lakhs the amount of scholarship depends on the marks scored in your previous schooling or diploma that you may have done

- About 4 Company used to visit for college placements in final year
- Sports used to happen frequently which helps us to have more friend in other department and college as well
Dislikes
- Package was not that very good provided by the company used to visit
- College management didn't used to behave in good manner

Tution fees used to increase every year for newly joined batches. As I have paid 7.5 lakhs for whole 4 year. I haven't applied for internship so i don't have much idea. I used to be Sports co-ordinator of whole university

- I like its campus and the staff faculty and also other facilities like sanitation, Ac classrooms etc
- Behaviour of the staff and teachers they deal very polietly
Dislikes
- There is nothing to be disliked about this college but in summers we have to walk alot due to the classes and its campus is too huge

As compared to othere collegs like chandigarh university, lpu, cgs etc the fee structure is too good as per me. And the scholarships are available according to you 12th class percentage. Also for other states like bihar and all i dont know too much there are many benificial oppurtunities.

- Cold water is provided for drinking purpose

- Education system is not good it should get improved
- There is good environment for relax as no club, cinema hall around college

There is scholarship from Haryana Government. Many of my friends are studying in scholarship. For scholarship student attendance is very crucial to maintain their scholarship. The total cost along with hostel is 680000 which is very high in this kind of education and other facility
