RRU is a story untold!!

Likes

Definitely the fountains around the hostel buildings as there are two hostels and are divided by a fountain of water.
Clear skies are visible from our campus and it is one of the cleanest campuses.
Crowd is super chill as initially there was a disproportionate between boys and girls but it isn't same anymore.

Dislikes

Studies is strict and so are hostel rules are RRU.

Campus placements here are like we have seminars and all and we have to represent how we can contribute. So a proper test is conducted and government agencies and also some private companies participate. This is how placements are done here.

RRU means business!!

Likes

Our campus is the most beautiful campuses of Gandhinagar as it 20,30x the size of GNLU and facilities wise even better than Nirma University.
I have joined 6-7 societies to keep myself engaged with the campus activities as otherwise there's nothing much to do after college hours.
We have a lot of flowers blossoming all round the year and therefore our campus always smells good.

Dislikes

Rigorous activities at the campus as sometimes our college hours are extended to 9-10 hours a day.

Placement Experience:

Almost all the students who are studying my course will have placements as Central Government governs our college and they ensure that each one of us atleast have some meaningful job after finishing the course.

RRU is super cool university!!

Likes

Only a few universities in Indian comes under central government and ours is one of those and also RRU has just two branches in all.
Our campus has 4 cafeterias or refreshment centres and thus it becomes very easy for us to find different food items inside the campus itself.
Faculties are noble people who have knowledge of politics and geopolitics too.

Dislikes

The only sad part is that it takes ages for us to find reasonable commuting options to travel as it is way off the main city of Gandhinagar.

Off late I have been reading and watch a lot of social media influencers making content on geopolitics. So, this is how it is and I also want to do the same and this is my plan. However, a lot of government agencies hire students of our college as we are taught exactly what government needs from us.

RRU University is best in class!!

Likes

We have four cafes inside the cafe and best part is I am a dairy product lover and we do have an Amul Parlour too.
Since college is in outskirt we enjoy silence and in and around campus all months long.
River is attached to our campus and therefore sitting on river bank in evening is a different novelty altogether.

Dislikes

Too strict timings and also commuting is quite difficult from here.
Nearest railway station Sabarmati is around 22kms from our campus.

Here Army and Police Service requirement keep coming and we can fill the form. So, direct training is what we are sent for and once we perform well there, a job worth minimum 40-50 thousand a month is awarded to us.

RRU is one in a million!!

RRU Ahmedabad or Gandhinagar whatever you call it, has the best infrastructure among any colleges of Gujarat.
Level of training is such that the first quality that the student will instill in him would be self confidence.
Psychology is also taught to us as we are taught strategic studies and psychology is a core part of it.

Dislikes

Hardly any female students as even though it's a co-ed college the college has hardly promoted itself.
College mess should find some variety as food is boring here with not much of a change in the menu.

Percentage of students getting placed is almost 100%. As Indian Police Service, IRS, and Indian Army are the ones where students are recruited directly. Also some are sent for diplomacy too as diplomat top is one of our subjects.

RRU is truly a remarkable university!!

An IPS officer is the incharge of ojr college and now think the kind of mentorship that we are getting here.
Practical exposure which is very crucial is something that we get in abundance here.
Since a fitness test just like we have in the army is conducted and hende one will find very fit students here.

Dislikes

University rules are very strict as we are not allowed to stay off campus past 8 pm.

Placement Experience:

Placements figures cant be mentioned as we will.be serving the notable Indian Police Force. Indian police also has an intelligence wing, forensic wing and likewise many others. So, our training and studies will be such that we will serve them in future.

The faculty here are well Qualified in their field .
The Infrastructure here is top notch as compared to other universities.
Other co- curricular activities available at campus .

Dislikes

The 75% attendance criteria is the first thing I don't like about this college .
The Second thing that i don't like is uniform system
The university is situated at outskirts of city.

Placement Experience:

Student get eligible after 6th semester for campus placements . Companies visited our college is Wipro , Adani , Colgate , and all other companies that provide security.The highest package is 15 lac per annum and the average package is 7 lac per annum .

Likes

The infrastructure Quality is top notch of my college.
The university environment is very good and people here are welcoming.
The relevance of this course is there for present time .

The attendance criteria is followed here strictly.
The dress code is also followed strictly .

Student become elegible from 6th semester for the campus placement. The companies like wipro , amazon ,colgate ,adani and many other security agencies come here to offer Job .Highest package offered was 15 lac per annum and the average package is 6 lac per annum .

A University That is Jewel For Future Generations.

Likes

The first thing I liked about my college is that is relevant in present time .
The modern technology used for teaching methods .
The faculty here are well Qualified and knowledgeable.

Dislikes

The college is situated in the outskirts of city .
A Bit of Gujarati dominance in the university premises.
Sometimes here in mess we have to eat sweet Dal and Vegetables that I hate the most .

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for internship from 3rd Year. Companies like Amazon , Wipro , Adani Ports, Colgate , and those companies who deal with security agencies visit our college . Highest package offered to student is 24 lac per annum and average package is 5 lac per annum . After graduation I would be pursuing masters from my university only .
