Likes

There is scholarship provided by nirma based on parents income and merit giving 1 lakh rupees as scholarship.
The faculties are well established in their domain and have a good knowledge about their respective fields and are keen for the development of the students
Nirma university claims to give 100% placement as the corporate head is having good relationships with industry leaders and placement committee are also active for providing placement opportunities.

Dislikes

Placement scenario because of recession, if iit is affected from recession, why not nirma, placements are fallen down to only 50 to 60% and that is also around 4 to 5 lpa
The placements are still happening but either ctc on lower side with some students still unplaced .
Truely speaking there is recession period going on where jobs are not easily available and so with college placements.

Life in Nirma University

Likes

Nirma University focuses not only in theoritical knowledge but also practical knowledge. They provide us a lot of oportunities to improve our skills.
There are many clubs in nirma university including technical as well as non- technical clubs. They carry out a lot of events and activities throughout the year. These activities provide a lot of oportunities for us to improve our skills.
The campus of nirma university is very beautiful and large. The campus has a lot of gardens and 3 canteens. The hostel is also inside the campus premises

Dislikes

The campus has a lot of dogs which is at times quite disturbing and not very approving.
The food is not as good as described by everybody and one pf the canteen known as law xanteen is very costly, other two canteens open late and close early.

Placement Experience:

Our university provides placement opportunities for all the university students. There is 100% place in our course. Last year 119 students applied for placement and all of them were placed. The highest package last year in mechanical was 14 lpa and average was 7 lpa. Some of the companies visiting our campus for placements are Google, Microsoft, Tata, Schneider, Maruti, L&T, Reliance and many others.

Life at NIRMA University

Likes

The infrastructure and campus size of University is appreciable.
The facilities available in the campus are great, there are supercomputers, tools and equipment for projects etc available for usage of students.
The faculties are well established in their domain and have a good knowledge about their respective fields and are keen for the development of the students

Dislikes

The attendance criteria is a major concern, which is 85%. They follow it strictly and not much provisions are provided if you fail to meet it
The interference of management with students clubs in the recent years has led to decrease of events happening.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements from the final year that is from the 7th semester itself. The companies make offer of internship+PPO to the students as the 8th semester is internship based. The top companies visiting in our branch are TATA, Worley, Schneider Electric, HUL, etc. The top package offered was 13LPA in the last year while the average package was about 5LPA. 95% students were placed and some students also received more than 1 offers. Speaking about me, I am planning to take the placement if I am offered a decent package and a desired role and then go for masters after 1 or 2 years.

What you need to know about Nirma University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well designed and is equipped woth modern learning methods.there are 3 exams in a sem first is class test of 20 marks second is sessional of 50 marks and then third is end semester examination of 100 marks

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was nice. A mix of theory and practicals was there. Faculty: student ratio would for mechanical engineering would be around 1:24, considering all mechanical engineering students across 4 years. Exams were 2 times-mid sem and end sem. All faculties in my knowledge were PhD or currently pursuing PhD.

Nirma University's campus are very good and that's campus life teach us how to get very great opportunity
Nirma University's placement is very well done that's avg package is 4.7lpa and highest package is 50lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've chosen the mechanical engineering course because after 4-5 years that course demand goes too high and personally, it's my passion In the mechanical engineering department faculty is very good and It's not difficult to pass the exam.

Clubs, Vibe, Safe Environment, Industrial visits are good. Robotics team of the college is one of the best in India.

Dislikes

Hostel is not available for graduation students.Infrastructure can be improved. All India quota needs to be increased.

Placement Experience:

After the 7th semester only, one can appear in placements. Multiple companies including ABB, NI, RIL, Samsung, NVIDIA etc visit college regularly. I started my UPSC Civils preparations after the completion of my degree.

Likes

Here you have very big campus and ground like cricket and football.

Dislikes

I don't like about faculty because all are don't know how to teach

Course Curriculum Overview:

Most of the Professors are Well educated and have Phd in their Field. But most Professors don't know how to teach. If you want to study in college you have to study by yourself. You can't rely on professors and college's outdated course.

placements are very good and percentage of student getting is 100% so it is very nice
then campus is very big and it has all the facilities of sports and you can access in any college hours
then i liked the faculties they are very enthusiasts about their work and each faculties have they own research topic

placements are very nice average is 13,00,000 highest is around 82,00,000 companies like Nirma reliance amazon adani etc. visit 100% placement i am willing to do MBA after cse from Nirma from 3rd year onwards you are eligible to get placements

The course was good enough to make our knowledge with the best attitude
The clubs are also good enough to learn with prectical and technical knowledge
The faculty are good enough to draw ourself for the future opportunities

Placement Experience:

The highest package was 14LPA, The minimum package is 3LPA, Students have to maintain a CGPA of around 7.5. Many companies are coming to the campus for placements like L&T Schneidermains Adani Power Tata Power MG Motors Tata Motors JSW FLIPKART etc.

i like to learn fromm the great faculties. good greenary campus.
Like the llibary reading resources and facility.
Like the buildings and modern laboratories.

Dislikes

I don't like their placement policy can say baddest policy.
Don't like some strict rule regulations regarding staying in campus.
Don't like the gym facilty which was not up too date.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th sem students are eligible for placements some may get ppo from internships. Nirma has a very good placement opportunity and you can get placements in nice companies. The highest package is 88lpa and the average for CSE is 10.70 lpa and for mechanical, it is 6lpa. In Nirma, those who registered for the placement process can get 90-98 % of placements. I got placed in LTTS.

Nirma University is well known for providing immense career opportunities and also ranked among the top 100 by the NIRF. Nirma University is ranked 16 for Law by India Today 2020. It is also ranked 44 for MBA, 17 for Pharmacy, 131 for BTech by NIRF 2020.

First-year students should know the basic information about Nirma University such as admissions, placements, faculty, scholarships, facilities, etc.

Admissions:

The college offers several specializations in architecture, science, management, technology, pharmacy, and law.
The college accepts students purely based on merit and performance in the entrance exams.
The entrance exams accepted by the college are JEE Main, GATE, CAT, GMAT, NATA, CLAT, and many more.

Placements:

The college is best known for the highest placements percentage and career opportunities.
As the campus has collaborations with over 300 companies, several companies visit the campus thoroughly.
