Likes

Faculty is helpful and have great knowledge of the subject,ambience is great,
The college also provides a scholarship every 6 months to students for free and job placements are taken nicely and good companies are approaching the university
The faculty of law is one of the best law colleges of india so there are many local and famous companies visited for requirements and students are also placed there or tnp cell provide good placement opportunities to students

Dislikes

Internshi opportunities are provided but the companies that comes for those drives are not so great and dont provide such a good exposure.
Placements are mainly done by college students only, faculty is not helping in it
No placements policies * for the faculty of arts students and no internship programs too.

The decent university if Vadodara

Likes

The teachers are very good here in the aspect of making children understand
The canteen is very cheap and it’s above avg taste

Dislikes

The university is over crowded in the arts section
In summer time the classes are over heat

The faculty of psychology in maharaja sayajirao university is very good which attracted me towards this course of bachelors in arts all the teachers are very friendly and the timings of exams are on fair basis

In Psychology They Include All Topics From Basics & Base.. to Advance All Aspects Biology Human Brain & Many Important Topics Covered Here. That Topics Is Very Helpful To Us In Future. Exams Are Not That Hard in 1 year 2 mid sem & 2 final exam.

Professor’s Dedication towards everything
Personal Interest and efforts of faculty
Environment and aura of the department.

Dislikes

Management (specifically for the exam time table)
Lesser events as compared to other universities
No educational trips or trips arranged.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility- Last year or second last year of the course High valued companies no idea about the package as we haven't yet asked for the same but average package would be 5 LPA its almost 80% of students getting placement

In Gujarat Only Govt. College Or University Provide Lots Of Subjects & Department In English Language.
The Beauty Of MSU Greenary Everywhere With Large Area.
Also some faculties Are Very Supportive & helpful.

Dislikes

I Find They Should Try More In Management Of University.
At Some Department Infrastructure Is Okay But In Some Department They Should Devlop Classrooms.
They Should Start Some Other Activities Or Event. More internship & placement

Course Curriculum Overview:

I Am Interested In Psychology From The 10th. So I Choose MSU For The Psychology Because Here It's only Govt. University Provide Psychology In English. Also Here Are Subjects Like Urdu French German Russian Archeology & Many More So According To New NEP You Can Also Choose Different & New Subjects In Your Studies. In Psychology Here Are They Teach us Nicely & Topics & Course Are Also Helpfull For us In Future. I didn't find any difficulty here college in exam They Give 2hr. For 50 marks paper &1hr for 25 marks paper.

MSU is good if you can keep up for yourself

MSU campus really gives the dream, medieval and serene vibes. The campus is very much wide. I'm from faculty of arts.
I'm in third year of bachelor's at the psychology department. It has in house internship and also one of the rare collges that allows for the student to choose a specialisation paper from third year onwards (obviously depending upon marks)
It doesn't have hard and fast rules. The professors are very supportive.

Dislikes

The classes are cancelled often but for psychology department , it's okayish.
For a reputed university, the academic pattern is a bit outdated.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Psychology department or the Faculty of Education and Psychology is one of the unique and popular faculty of the university. It allows freedom and nurtures the students. There are frequent seminars and workshops which is more of an interdisciplinary approach for exposure and preparing the individuals for an all round development. The faculty has two exams - mid semester and end semester, which is 30+70. I suggest to attain the classes regularly or if not, be prepared as early as possible cause the exams are unpredictable.

Remarks:

This University is renowned for its faculty of psychology. It provides a huge scope in the field of psychology even after completion of graduation. Found this University peaceful and lenient. Honestly I didn't think of coming here but destiny has its own role to play and so I am in this University.
