insights of government engineering colleges

Likes

The good thing is campus size it is approximate 200 acres as i am a basdminto national player a badminton indoor court is there college is located at main highway so just outside the college there is complex restaurant etc
The staff is pretty good not all but yaa some of pf the teachers all are good qualified and have good knowledge about there dubject and the best thing is they are supportive
The campus has different building for diffrent branches and the hostel is soo good compare to other colleges means rooms , security, maintenance

Dislikes

The campus is soo dirty it is big but half of the area is jungle,, it means they can decorate it but raher it is a government college,, there are lighing problem on the road no lights on hpboys hostel side , and staff quarters side nice lighting
The buildings are poor means the construction is very bad ,, barish ka pani andar ata hai etc ,,, the benches are cotted with dust etc no auditorium
The college is soo weak in clubs formation ,, cultural activities soo inactive no one is intrested in doing this no ncc means giving no exposure to students in this side hustles or passion work

Placement Experience:

Soo yaa i dont know about my college placement i know that it is low because it is a tier 3 college but i always heard frome the sam ething from the seniour not all time bad but sometimes good that ths one has cracked good placement, this ne getting intership in isro ,, and no idea of students get placed percentage,,, see in Gujarat government engineering college students of gujrat have theri family business soo mostly of them are studying beacuse of degree only few of them are regularly attending class and serious for study ,,, my plans are different i want to prepare fpr gate exam want to do masters in this branch have to write research papers etc overall want to study more and then get palced soo yaa from 7 sem stipudents are eligible for placement and not soo many companies but like elenfochip , infosys , tata etc ,, and some local one ,,

Likes

The college campus is clean and peaceful. The environment is good for studies and the classrooms and labs are well maintained and useful for practical learning.
Most of the teachers are helpful and supportive. They explain topics clearly and also guide students for exams, projects and career related doubts.
The college has decent infrastructure, library and computer labs. Various events, functions and technical activities are also organized during the year.

Dislikes

Placement opportunities are average and only a few good companies visit the campus. Students need to work on their own skills for better jobs.
Some teachers use old teaching methods and the syllabus feels more theoretical and less practical in some subjects.
Canteen and hostel facilities can be improved. Also, sometimes management work is slow and takes time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and covers all the basic and important subjects related to the field. This course includes both theoretical and practical subjects which influenced my decision to choose it. The syllabus helps in building strong fundamentals, but it is still more theory-oriented and less industry-focused. It prepares students for exams and higher studies, but for real-world skills, students need to do extra courses and self-practice. The exams are conducted every semester along with internal tests and are moderate in difficulty level. If a student studies regularly, the exams are not very difficult to clear. The curriculum should be updated more frequently and more practical, project-based and industry-related topics should be added.

PLACEMENTS START FROM 7TH SEMESTER COMPANIS LIKE JAGUAR BMW TCS INFOSYS AND LOCAL FIRMS VIST THE CAMPUS THE HIGHEST PACKAGE IS AROUND 6LPA AND THE AVERAGE IS 2 LPA ABOUT 60% TO 70% STUDENTS GET PLACED I PLAN TO GAIN EXPERIENCE AND LATER PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES

I like of my college Government engineering college of Modasa a faculty and teachers. Facilities are most experience some Facilities experience are mor then 30years. Facilities teachings method are very good understandable.Faculty mentorship are good
My college Government engineering college of Modasa engagement campus life and the quality of social interaction is moderate level.some times events gathering are interaction with others are very good and people are open minded and good behavior all.
Boy and girl ration is very low for my branch of mechanical engineering. Ration of my branch is girls and 62 boys.Sir help with care support for building a our care. organic a seminar of how improve our skills and how to clean interview for plesment.

My college Government engineering college of Modass canting is not a good it is very bed and dirty please of college and not mentioned a highness some student it canting food and he get food poisoning and leave for 15 days on hospital bed.bad food .

I liked the new building of civil department which have been made recently in which there is almost every facilities.
I like the college activities.Every year there is so much activities like sports week, mahakumbh,and many other curriculum activities.
I like the college faculties, everyone is GFSC qualified and also pursuing their Masters.

Dislikes

So recently new building of civil department and many more department is made but in those buliding,tiles are very weak and have to be replaced in 1 year only.
I didn't like the uncleanliness at some place.
I didn't like the w/c, which is also not maintained.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placement and companies started to visit. L&T, RELIANCE,HITACHI,CIVILTECH,etc. Companies have visited or they have set interview for placement.The highest package in diploma is around 5,00,000 LPA and average package is 2,50,000-3,00,000 LPA. I think 40 to 50% of student getting placement and my plans after diploma is to do BE.

Infrastructure of the college at top notch.
Basketball court, sport room , Pickle ball courts, cricket ground, football ground.
Teacher and their teaching skill are very good .

Dislikes

College don't support any student union committee
Canteen area don't allow music and jamming
College don't provide any transportation by management from campus to depo. And college buses are not appropriate.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placements, students with good marks and no current backlogs are eligible for most of the companies. Companies like Wipro, L&T TURBO ,MG motors , etc do visit for placements

I'll must say, the faculty is skilled. They are expert in what they teach

Dislikes

It's about where we study. So, I'm studying Automation & Robotics, a new course launched. And so we don't have our own branch building. That's why we are studying at textile department along with some other new branches that were launched.

Placement Experience:

After completing the 6th sem, we'll get the offer for campus placement. Atleast 20 companies would come for the best candidates. I plan to pursue this course only, for Bachelors in Degree. I would try scoring top in ddcet in order to get a seat in the government LD college

The Real Side of Our college !

Likes

The college campus is much peaceful and big.
The all faculties are good and her behaviour is much more better.
Their is an excellent opportunity to get the campus placement.

Dislikes

All the building infrastructure are not at all good so much.
The tools and practical lab are too much old.
Scholarship are too limited in this college.

Placement Experience:

The all college campus placements company are good with their big visibility. All the college campus placement company are very carrying to the all new freshers students. The students are getting starting packages like 3LPA to 5LPA depends on company requirements and other factors. And plan is to get the job from college campus placement.

the collage has affordable fees compared to private engineering colleges,which is a big advantage for student.
basic infrastructure like classrooms,labs, and library facilities are satisfactory.
the campus is peacefull and suitable for focused learnnig

Dislikes

hostel facilities and canteen services need improvement.
industrial expore and intrenship through the collage could be better.
campus activities and student clubs are limited compared to private collages

Placement Experience:

- 6th semeter students are eligible for placement. - highest package is 6LPA and lowest is 1LPA. -in my department not visited any companies. -40% students are getting placements. - geting good job in reputed companies after degree.

The G.E.C.gandhinagar for great placement

Faculty of g.e.c. Gandhinagar is very helpful for mentoring students and help them for any institute level work.
For places and careers college conducts placement guidences sessions for interview preparation
Teaching method of all professor is very nice

Dislikes

The condition of classrooms are very poor.

Placement Experience:

Students eligible for placement in 4 th year or 6 th semester. Students are eligible for internship from 3rd year or 5 th semester Company like TCS ,Infosys,Microsoft,nvidia ...etc are visited for placement offers Highest package by TCS is 12 LPA. Highest package for Infosys is 8LPA. Any student who studied in GEC Gandhinagar get average package of 5-8LPA 20-30 percentage students are getting placed in this college My plans after getting the degree is masters from abroad
