Review of Bakhtiyarpur College of Engineering Patna

Likes

This college comes under the Department of science and Technology Led by Bihar Government.
Faculties comes here after clearing the entrance exam.So the professors are well trained and knowledgeable

Dislikes

The campus is not much bigger.The is lack of land
Sports facilities are not upto the mark due to short length campus
Library is not open for 24 hours. It is only open in college hours

The college is good in terms of placement compared to other government engineering colleges in Bihar. Around 50- 60% of students got placed. Some of the companies which come to college every year are TCS, SKODA, Q - SPIDER, Countryedu My plan is to pursue a masters after getting a degree here

Likes

The behavior faculty is very polity and very good.
The infrastructures of college classroom is very good.
The infrastructure of labs is very good and all the computers work very well.

Dislikes

The canteen and mess facility is very poor.
The playground conditions is also not good.

Placement Experience:

The third-year student after the 5th sem student is eligible for the campus placement. The companies visited are product based like cisco, Infosys, Mahindra, plant spark and many different companies are visited, the company provide the package is very good.

It's a nice college you can go for it but only if you want to study in less money , if you want to get good placements in college then this place is not good for you

Likes

Teacher's are BPSC qualified and they have alot of knowledge in their respective field also they are very friendly and active for organizing events that aim to provide knowledge related to our branch
Fees is very low in approx 2lakhs whole engineering will be done including mess and hostel fèes. Placements are average but it is totally satisfaction
Good infrastructure and buildings of hostels are also very nice just like private college

Dislikes

This locality is very poor i mean for reaching this place you need to take a bus or train and that is very limited
75% attendance is compulsory as we have biometric system
Sometimes we have alot of classses and which is not a bad thing but still if you're preparing for some entrance exam then you need to make sure that you would balance both

Placement Experience:

In the 6th sem they become eligible for placements Alot of companies visit but they offer between 2-7 Lpa 50% get placed rest all are trying for off campus or they're preparing for entrance such Gate, Ssc je and other exams

Classes seats are limited and good well mannered system of classes
Lab facility are amazing .. like many btech college have not great computer system
You have to well dressed and college administration provide seminar and interaction with great personality for gaining knowledge of society and field

Dislikes

Small campus as its near the high court so campus is small
Rules are stricted like you feel you are in high court
Permanent faculty are less mainly guest teacher are there

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester you are qualified you for campus placement and many recognized companies are coming now like Infosys Wipro Finch and Money other company are also visited in college and college internship program like Infosis Wipro fintech

The courses are too vast and the pressure on the students is very high. There is always a fear of failing in one or more subjects every year. Always a rat race going on where students are just reciting the recorded lectures But the subjects are interesting when studied in depth.

CAMPUS WAS VERY SPACIOUS AND THE ENVIRONMENT WAS SO CLEAN AND FRESH

ATTENDANCE RULE- LIKE IF YOU ARE LATE FOR EVEN 10 SECONDS YOU WILL NOT GET THE ATTENDANCE
NO EVENTS NO CONCERTS OR BIG AND CROWD APPEALING FUNCTIONS WAS ORGANISED
THERE WAS NO AIR CONDITION IN THE CLASSROOM AND THE BENCHES WERE ALSO VERY UNCOMFORTABLE

THE COURSE CURRICULUM WAS GOOD AND IN PROPER MANNER. THE SYLLABUS WAS WELL MAINTAINED AND WAS COMPLETED ON BEFORE EXAMINATION WE ALSO GET THE TIME TO REVISE. Likes

I personally love the ambience and the well maintain facility
Teacher's are too good to deal with us and too interacted

Dislikes

Classes doesn't have air condition...sometimes it is so tough to survive

Best College In Patna

Likes

Discipline in the college was beyond expectations.
All the faculty was very much helpful and knowledgeable
There are many activities in the college in which we can take part and can earn certificates..

Dislikes

Mandatory attendance is 75% and if you fail to keep up you will be asked to repeat the semester
Less participation in game and sports teacher is just partial and doesn't do his job properly.
Placements were very average and during our time not many big companies came.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college is not up to the mark.. During our academics only few companies came and not with a good package. If the students have already appeared for one interview they cannot come to the other interviews.. But many of the students and my batchmates were placed in Vedanta, Sri Sai Hospital, ICICI prudential etc.

It was my pleasure to write about my college.

Likes

Alumni network is a strong point, my college has some of the best doctor of our state.
It is an old college, hence has more experienced teachers and staffs
Patient load of our hospital is quit high, it is one of the highest in bihar

Dislikes

The campus is not present, like the college building, hospital,hostel, etc all are not in the same campus, they are a bit far from each other, hence always need a vehicle.
For the 1st year mbbs(boys) there is no hostel facilities, it is alloted during mid 2nd year
College authority is very strict, they behave as we are in a school not in a college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for mbbs which is obvious as i had qualified neet exam. Mbbs is a degree which gives us a day to day exposure to the common people. It's a degree of service, which includes a day/night work without any complaint, but not now as I'm currently in 2nd year only.

Placement Experience:

Students of final year and pre-final year are eligible for college placement. Different companies visits college for the placement opportunities after words with TPOs. Heighest package is 6LPA and average is 2.8 LPA. Around 60% students get placed. My plan is to pursue MBA after the degree completion
