- The teachers are friendly with the students and i have the best learning experience in there.
- The facilities gauhati university is providing and the infrastructure. teachers try to provide as much information as they can. the campus is so peaceful. hostels facilities are so good. gauhati university provides good health and medical facilities

- There was no entrance exam for us, it was online registration and merit list was provided, there was no entrance exam for us.
- Some teacher are very good and some are so bad in behavior and teaching so i dislike some teachers.
- Teachers are not good in teaching they are also bad behavior.

- In Arya vidyapeeth college i am studying in commerce Department where i have to pay 15000 per year. I belong from a very poor family. It's been very difficult for my parents to pay my college fees and also registration fees is also very high to effor
- In arya vidyapeeth college ellection is done ever year and this election the candidates promise us wrong words. After promising us they don't even does that work and they show us a higher level of attitude. In the election time period huge mess occur
- Arya vidyapeeth college students are does not follow any college rules regulations. While college freshers or any other college function students use to drink alcohol and make a huge mess and they fight among themselves. They teas girl's that's why.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choosed B. Com because i wanted to become a bank manager after completing my graduation i will be learning about bank and i will also apply for bank training
Our fees should be less atleast below 5000 per semester so that every students can effort for the fees.

- The college students are very well disciplined and even the teachers and professors are very kind and helpful
- The college surrounding is very beautiful and clean
- Learning facilities like central Library is also available for students
Dislikes
- The college toilet is very much dirty i have been studying for 3 years but there were no repairs in toilet even it was more worst than before
- Both the boys and girls toilets are dirty
- The seating arrangement outside the class is not good and we have to climb to 3rd or 4th floor dor the classes
Course Curriculum Overview:
The college arrange the seminar for the students from different organisations and different states for their development and support towars social service and other activities. They arrange sports week once in a year for the students.

I am doing b.com course in honour finance.its my childhood dream to studying in b.com in commerce college..my future plan are i want to be a bank manager it's my dream ambbision everything.i want to thank my teacher to giving me such important knowledge about our course

- Faculty Members are friendly and they are very helpful. The college us very clean
- They provide you guidance through and very much helped me throughout my graduation
- They have hostels for both boys and girls
Dislikes
- The hostel warden is very much rude and aggressive
- The air conditioner in the classrooms didn't worked well
- They doesn't have proper and clean canteen
Placement Experience:
From 6th Semester onwards the students become eligible for campus placements . There are many comapnies visited in our college like - Godrej , Axis Bank , Mahindra etc. The highest package was from Gorej which was for 5LPA . On the basis of their interviews rounds they were provided the job .

- Teachers were good, the class is not much regular but the teaching is good
- I like my friends, they're friendly and cool with each other
- I like the vibe of the college and environment
Dislikes
- I just feel alone, I'm an introvert person and i just like spending time alone but it was kinda hard to find a place where i can be alone
- Too much noisy and less manners among each others
- Thats all, i love the college overall and i don't have more dislikes
Course Curriculum Overview:
I love their teachings, I can't speak assamese and when they teach in Assamese I can't understand anything but the teaching is mostly English and Hindi so I'm grateful to teachers, the mark system is crazy, they just gave us whatever they feel like giving, like it always ends with 5 or 0 for eg. 55 65 80 30 etc

- Its infrastucture and way of teaching of the teachers
- Freshers and other programs which gave entertainment to all the students
- Its canteen food , refereshment items etc

- The college did not have an adequate drainage system
Placement Experience:
Gauhati Commerce College provides a good internship and placement opportunities for the students.During the 5th and 6th semester , a good number of companies approach the college for fresh graduates. Students have to attend internship classes of the companies and give online interviews to get access for the placements and jobs.
Some of the companies which have approached the college are - Federal Bank , Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) , Acmegrade Classes , Tata Strive etc .

- I have been a student at Gauhati Commerce College for the past 3 years and have been grateful for having the opportunity to be a part of this college. I learned a lot, not just academically but in real life through my peers and professors.
- It has a legacy of its own being one of the pioneer commerce college in the northeast region of India
- Great faculty and placements. Makes your B.Com degree really worth
Dislikes
- It lacks infrastructure-wise. It's as simple as that. A lot of changes are needed to make things better.
- The area is very commercial so it can be a bit chaotic at times. Also, there's a lot of traffic jam
- And lastly, flooding. The college gets flooded as soon as there is rain. This is major issue and Gauhati Commerce College is actually infamous for this.
Placement Experience:
Several companies such as Godrej and TCS came to the University to conduct college placements. I even appeared for the TCS manager exam and hope to land that job. Along with this, I also got selected at Godrej as an sales executive

- The first thing I truly liked is the environment it provided for the students to understand what life truly is and how can we overcome any obstacles.
- The second thing I liked is the faculty which helped the students to understand their respective subjects in a great way.
- The third thing I liked is the canteen which ensured quality food within a less budget.
Dislikes
- The only thing I didn't liked is that some of the rooms did not had the facility of air conditioning which is very necessary during the summer season.
Placement Experience:
From the final semester students become eligible for campus placement. This year (2024) almost 6 companies visited our college for recruitment. The top companies were Godrej, TCS, Federal Bank and many more. The highest package offered is 3.5-4LPA

- College environment is good for learning,teachers helped us at any moment during exams also cleared out doubts,
- College provides Ncc to the students who are interested and helped them to achieve their goals in Ncc.
- College also provide sports and other co curriculum activities for the students which encourages them a lot and give a chance to the students to show their potential in their respective fields
Dislikes
- All the college in Guwahati are affiliated under Guwahati University so in each degree there are 6 sems and each sem exams should be taken in 6months as each degree completes in 3 year but exams some sems are completed within 3 months
- College provides so much assignment at the time of the exam that becomes so much stress for the students and have to submit just in 2 days ..time frame given by the teachers to complete the assignment are too less
- Attendance is everything in the college if no attendance the your are not able to give final exams in the college 75% attendance is must
Course Curriculum Overview:
I am studying Bcom here but everything in bcom is how well you can memorize there is nothing much practical in bcom expect in some subjects which we will get in 3rd sem and 4th sem. Final Exams are taken in very six months and level is quite medium as college trained us properly for the examination

- Many more good facilities are available.
- It’s one of the best college in Guwahati
Dislikes
- I disliked nothing there, those were my golden days in that institute.
Placement Experience:
Students can get placements after 4th semester.
Many different commercial and government companies visits there.
About 50% of students can get placements in different companies.
I prefer to take Banking courses.

One of my friends graduated from Gauhati University. According to her, it’s a decent university.
Faculty: The faculties are dedicated. They may seem strict at first, but you can approach them, regarding your problems.
Curriculum: The course curriculum is up-to-date. You can even follow the syllabus for various entrance tests.
Classes: Classes are held regularly. The institute is also strict regarding attendance.
Co-curricular: Different co-curricular activities are held around the academic year.
The environment on campus is great for studies. The university has been accredited with NAAC A grade. Overall it can be a great place to pursue your studies.
