- The teachers are friendly with the students and i have the best learning experience in there.
- The facilities gauhati university is providing and the infrastructure. teachers try to provide as much information as they can. the campus is so peaceful. hostels facilities are so good. gauhati university provides good health and medical facilities

- There was no entrance exam for us, it was online registration and merit list was provided, there was no entrance exam for us.
- Some teacher are very good and some are so bad in behavior and teaching so i dislike some teachers.
- Teachers are not good in teaching they are also bad behavior.

- I liked the central Library that was in collage and it can be used by every one and you can also borrow the books for 15 days
- There is also a large ground with many more different sports facility
- I also like the canteen which is very hygiene and they also hire the best chef

- Some staff faculty in the counter are very rude
- I don't like politics in academic level, there are lot of student union which are involved in politics

There are course that are already selected and apart form that you can also select self-finance course wich will cost some extra according to the cot you have selected there are also many schems that offen come in college with some subscription.

- I like the behaviour, teaching skills and cooperation of my teachers they are very helpful
- There is a lot of extra curricular activities like every year we celebrate college week
- The canteen is too good it's from krc and well behaviour
Dislikes
- The toilets of the common room are very much dirty and unhygienic
- I don't like Politics at academic level there is a lot of student union group
Course Curriculum Overview:
I have always been interested in commerce that's why I've chosen this course the teaching method is good overall the newly came faculty should improve their teaching skills, the timing for the internal examination was 1 hour and the paper was 20 marks and the timing for the final examination is 3 hours marks 80.

- The one thing that I appreciate the most is that this college is filled with knowledge and experience in the categories I m interested.
- The social interaction of the college is quite good as we engage ourselves in events and field trips.
- The teachers are very experienced and clear when they are explaining a subject and the notes that they give is also very effective.
Dislikes
- I think our college lacks one thing and that campus recruitment which is very necessary nowadays since it’s hard to find a job immediately after leaving the college so there should associations of companies with our college.
- The rest room for the students can be cleaner and the building is little bit old.
- The course is very relevant and thorough but the finishing of the syllabus is a bit slow.

I rate my course a 9 out of 10 as I am quite interested in commerce and accounts.
The major aspect behind choosing this course is that I always wanted to do something in finance or accounts and this course helps me with that
It prepares us very well for the real world
There can be more digital learning in our class
The timing and frequency are quite accurate and decent it doesn't overlap with any other exam

- The teaching is somewhat nice. it needs improvement
- The campus life i felt was quite good and it was quite spacious
- The college has a great library with a whole lot of books
Dislikes
- The placement service is quite effective
- The infrastructure need renovation in some parts
- The course is quite relevant and is helping me in development
Placement Experience:
from 6th sem students become eligiblre for campus placements
ICICI Bank and it made about 3 offers
Highest average was 450000 and average package is 300000
10% of students gets placement
i am studying for bank exams

Course Curriculum Overview:
I took commerce stream after 10th, so the most obvious choice for me was B.Com.(Hons) because of it's wide scope and applicability. This is a very old and prestigious college of Guwahati, Assam. There is not much pressure during the course.

- There were a lot of extra curricular activities so that students can develop their skills
Dislikes
- There were so many students that why we didn't get personal attention.
Course Curriculum Overview:
It conducted several carrier counseling and seminars and workshops which helps students to make right choice in future and enhance their knowledge. In my batch we didn't have major in subjects .we were told that there will be major subject in 3rd year but there was not .Later they said that in honours there is no one particular subject to be major and all main subjects are considered major subject.

One of my friends graduated from Gauhati University. According to her, it’s a decent university.
Faculty: The faculties are dedicated. They may seem strict at first, but you can approach them, regarding your problems.
Curriculum: The course curriculum is up-to-date. You can even follow the syllabus for various entrance tests.
Classes: Classes are held regularly. The institute is also strict regarding attendance.
Co-curricular: Different co-curricular activities are held around the academic year.
The environment on campus is great for studies. The university has been accredited with NAAC A grade. Overall it can be a great place to pursue your studies.
